Baymont by Wyndham Ridgecrest — Hotel in Ridgecrest

Staff was nice. Friendly and accommodating. However, Pricing was a little high for what is given. The bed was horrible - incredibly loud and uncomfortable. The base was made of aluminum or similar and any creak or slight movement of the bed was echoed throughout the whole room. Very difficult to get rest.

Google Maps suggested $60 - $80 for a room here, which would’ve been ideal. When I pulled up, the woman told me it would be $103 after taxes. I asked if she could match the price I’m seeing online for this location, but she wasn’t able to do that. Or at least wasn’t interested in trying. I’d have to go through the third party to get that price, which isn’t even guaranteed. So, while I acknowledge this isn’t her fault, I do think it would look good in the way of customer service to honor that price - I know hotels used to do that. I was also left concerned about my credit card security after checking in. She had to type in my card number because the reader wasn’t working… which I understand, I’ve been there. But a LOT seemed to go wrong when she was processing my stay. Then I didn’t get a receipt nor asked for my email address. Had to ask about that in the morning to ensure there was no foul play. The shower did not appear to have been cleaned. I was here for a total of 12 hours , so didn’t make a difference in this case, but I have to wonder about the rest of the cleaning procedures. Lastly - the Dennys voucher is a nice touch. Instead of your usual stale continental breakfast options, we were given a voucher for the Dennys down the street and could get an actual meal. Struttura orribile gestita da uno staff altrettanto orribile, maleducato e bugiardo! Al nostro arrivo presso la struttura siamo andati alla reception per fare il check in. Ci sono state date le chiavi della nostra stanza. Siano entrati nella stanza a noi assegnata ed una volta all'interno abbiamo notato numerosi insetti morti sul pavimento (sembravano dei grilli o delle blatte). Siamo rimasti inorriditi da tutto ciò quindi abbiamo iniziato a guardare sotto i letti e intorno ai mobili, dove ne abbiamo trovati molti altri anche vivi che si muovevano ovunque! Quindi molto indignati siamo andati alla reception a segnalare l'accaduto chiedendo che ci venisse assegnata un'altra stanza. Il ragazzo alla reception, senza neanche una parola di scuse, anzi era pure scocciato, è venuto con noi a "controllare" la stanza. Quindi ce ne ha data un'altra. Una volta entrati nella seconda stanza la situazione era peggiore della prima! Insetti ovunque sul pavimento che andavano da tutte le parti! A quel punto abbiamo deciso, visto le pessime condizioni igienico sanitarie, di andare via dal Motel e chiedere un rimborso di quanti avevamo già pagato. Dopo aver caricato i bagagli nella nostra auto siamo tornati alla reception. Abbiamo detto al ragazzo della reception che ci sentivamo presi in giro, che la nostra stanza era infestata da Insetti ed era peggiore di quella di prima! Abbiamo chiesto di andare via e di ricevere il rimborso della somma pagata. Lui ci ha detto che non poteva dare niente e che non poteva rimborsare, ma che doveva essere Booking a rimborsare la somma pagata. Abbiamo fatto numerose telefonate a Booking, ma visto che erano le 21:30 siamo andati via alla ricerca di un'altra struttura. Ad oggi, dopo numerose email alla struttura e dopo numerose telefonate a Booking non abbiamo ancora ricevuto i nostri soldi indietro. I can not understand these good ratings. I think most of them are fake. Our room seems not to be cleaned. Long hair in the bathroom everywhere, the carpet wasn't vaccumated. Hairs in the bed, stains everywhere on the carpet, couch... The stairs to our room have never been cleaned since the Hotel opened i think. The ice machine, no words for that. The lady at the reception is very nice and appologized for the dirt. She immediatly brought us new sheets and a cleaner.

I know it is no 5 Star Hotel and it's cheap but i expect a little bit cleanliness. We are not overly accurate in these things but this is a...
