The Honey Baked Ham Company — Restaurant in Ridgeland

As we were having lunch today at this Honey Baked Ham location, an elderly lady at another table realized that one of the ingredients in her chicken salad sandwich was cranberries. She told the staff that she was allergic to cranberries. Shanequa & Troy (HBH staff members) immediately apologized (even though it was not their faults at all) & told her that they would make her a new sandwich of her choice at no charge, of course. . Troy walked over to her table, apologized again, & took her chicken salad sandwich off the lady’s table & Shanequa quickly asked her what type of new sandwich she wanted, & made it in no time. The way that Troy & Shanequa gracefully & effectively handled a delicate allergy situation was extremely impressive! Every time we go to this HBH we are always amazed at how friendly & kind the staff is, but Troy & Shanequa’s team work & actions today stood out so much that I wanted to commend them! I preordered a Ham and turkey. When I went to pick up I was told they were sold out of the ham I ordered! (Why preorder if they aren’t going to have it??) The manager on duty said she would give me a bone in ham for the same price as what I had ordered (boneless ham) She stated that the bone in ham was a little more but she would give it to me at no extra cost since they could not give me what I had ordered. I thanked her for that Go home to find out SHE DID charge me an extra $8.66! AND SHE USED MY CREDIT CARD WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION!! So she lied right to my face. Ordered on line Saturday for a pick up of turkey and ham. Paid on line and scheduled for pick up today. Went in with scan from email to pay. It was a free for all. There was no preference for prepaid pick ups. They did not have my ham size so I had to wait until it was cut in the back! The glaze is like a rock and fell off the ham immediately after opening.
