Santoni's Pizzeria and Restaurant — Restaurant in Ridgewood

The pizza is pretty decent, although not the best in town. However, feels more like a social club for its teenage employees vs. a business. Half a dozen or more employees sitting around, doing nothing, talking, ignoring customers while the tables go uncleaned, garbages filled to the brim with trash and long waits for your food. Further, the group of 3-4 delivery guys take up one or two of the very few tables and several of the very limited parking spots. And when you call to place an order you struggle to hear the teenage employee you’re talking to because all the other teenage employees are laughing in the background. The owner needs to make sure his employees are doing their jobs more, chatting less and taking up less space needed for paying customers. As a teenager, I too delivered pizza, but would have been fired on the spot if I spent my free time sitting at a table reserved for customers while chatting it up...

Will go again - This place is amazing! If you do go, ask for Corey. We ordered a whole lot of food: grandma's pizza pie, chicken parm sandwich, Italian sandwich, penne vodka with chicken, fettuccine alfredo, and chicken marsala...everything was good. There was not one bad choice. The taste is what you can imagine at a quality pizzeria but the price is insane...possibly $-$$ for all we ordered is ridiculous. No negative review on a single of the item we ordered.

Given how busy they were, it is no wonder the food tastes delicious. They had like 10 delivery drivers going in and out. The wait was'nt too bad because of how busy they were. ~10 mins. after arrival. Due to COVID and the amount of busy staff, they don't allow dining in and you have to wait outside for your order.

Went for a slice today, which wasn’t good to begin with and then after what I saw and heard left a very bad taste in my mouth. I witness such unprofessionalism and horrible behavior from the staff. A man went in to work what seemed to be his first day and asked to speak to the manager or owner and they just laughed at him. Didn’t bother responding to him and looked at him as if it was a joke. I could visibly see the poor man felt awkward and confused. As a customer I felt uncomfortable seeing this. Poor guy just wanted to work and they laughed at him. So rude and immature. In the world we live in so sad that people treat other this way. The man left and I don’t blame him I wouldn’t want to work in a place that treats their employees this way. As a now ex-customer not spending my money here....
