I placed a mobile order for a drink today. After I placed my order, the app said my drink will be ready for pickup at 3:13pm. I arrived to the store at approximately 3:18 and went inside. Normally when I place a mobile order, the drink is on the counter for me to pickup but today there was no drink on the counter. It was approximately 4-5 workers in there today. It was one customer ahead of me. They were working on her order. I patiently waited until they finished with the customer before me. They finished with the customer and proceeded to just walk around behind the counter. No one acknowledged me at all. No one spoke. No one asked may I help you? Do you need to place an order? Did you order through the mobile app? I stood there for a minute with no acknowledgment. So I moved closer and asked how much longer will be for my order that I placed through the app. That’s when one of the workers asked me for my name; I gave her my name and that’s when they brought my drink to me. The drink was clearly watered down. I asked why does it look lighter than usual and she proceeded to tell me because it’s been sitting. I think it was very rude of them to not have at least one of the workers speak or acknowledge that I was standing there waiting on service. I could’ve gotten my drink quicker if they would have acknowledged that I was standing there waiting while they took care of another customer and still ignored my presence after the customer left. 2 of the workers wasn’t doing anything at all so they could have at least asked me what I was waiting for and handed me my drink which would have taken less than a minute to do. I really think they may need a refresher course on providing great...

I’m not a “Starbucks person” due to previous experiences from other cities, particularly in South Florida. However, the staff at this store (my first GA store) have made me reconsider my position.
Ronica took my order at the register and was able to sort out my coworker’s request I was entrusted with in a manner that was not only calm, cool, and collected, but also pleasant, reassuring, and informative.
An employee who’s name tag was outside my eyesight mirrored the aforementioned modus operandi as she handed me my Impossible sandwich.
And… Heather, who was working the station one could call “Order Ready,” was forthrightly stellar. Her manner in speaking to coworkers about real-life topics while remaining hyper-cognizant of the public struck me as a careful balance between recognition of realism and aspiration of idealism. Her movements behind the counter were, from the eyes of a former BOH & FOH Restaurant/Hospitality associate, completely in keeping with the principle of safety without sacrificing efficiency (or vice versa). She handled both of my post-order inquiries with superb customer service, and generally conveyed an air of professionalism in everything I observed about her aura.
Thank you, Ronica, Heather, and the rest of the competent staff whose names unfortunately escaped my powers of observation.
I will be back, at this ‘Bucks and others in the area as well (although realistically I don’t know if other stores can replicate what this...
Read more5/30/18: This location has certainly improved from its early days. Great service and other than an occasional rude teenage barista who forgets that making a coffee doesn't require snobbery, it has become one of my favorite Starbucks locations. Very kind to my kids who really enjoy a caramel frappuccino!
2017: They seem to be trying to learn the drinks and the rewards program, but I continually have a problem with them understanding basic gold refill rules. They are always friendly, but there is no consistency in their products. I especially dislike the team who likes to pour the milk on top of the iced coffee because "it looks cool" rather than doing the drink the traditional way and getting the proper amount of milk in there. Lastly, it takes a few days for the $$$ to come off your Starbucks card, so you lose track of how much money you have on there. This only seems to happen when I use my starbucks card at this location. I'm really hoping this location can get it together and give Rincon the wonderful Starbucks experience that we get in Pooler...
