Called the Rincon location yesterday (12/7/23) looking for a copy of Call of Duty Vanguard for PS5. The guy I spoke with (I don’t remember his name or else I would put him on blast personally) on the phone said that they had it. So I asked if he could set it aside for me and I’d be by to pick it up when I got off work. He said “Sure, no problem.” Well after I get off work I go up there to grab it and he hands me a copy of it for PS4. I said “That’s for PS4. I need it for PS5.” To which he replied “They didn’t make it for PS5 but it will work just the same since PS5 is backwards compatible.” I thought to myself “It was in fact made for PS5. I know this because the game came out in 2021 and the PS5 came out in 2020 so why wouldn’t it have been made for PS5.” But instead I said “Um ok” took the game and walked to my car. Then I looked it up and found it for PS5 went back into the store and over to the used game shelf. Found it on PS5 grabbed it and walked up to the counter held it up to him and all he could manage to say was “Oh”. Like seriously how in the h* are you gonna work in a game store and portray yourself to be a gamer and not know what systems a game was made for. Read moreAs much as the lady at the store was kind and very helpful. The overall experience was bad! Came in on Tuesday as they opened and wanted to get a headset for my 15yr. He had gotten gift cards for this bday. Unfortunately they did not have the headset he wanted and said they could order for us. Also said for 6.00 more the headset would arrive by friday/sat. Today check and said it would not arrive til the 8th of Jan😳. Came back to cancel the order for as much as it say it's has ships. Was told it's sitting at another shop waiting pick up. Which could be days before its picked up. Smh lady today said she has to bring to the store in order to ship, for they rarely come and pick up. Really sad. If the guy had said something to me about how they ship I would have never ordered and just went to Walmart to get. Giving a 1 star for they need to tell people and be upfront. I do appreciate the lady that help. But frustrating for now we have to wait til the headset gets here to return it. And had to spend more money to get the headset. Then I let a young man go in front of me and the guy offered to order the game and ship to his house for free. It was then my turn and I had to display boxes for games he said he have to check if it's in stock. As he was looking for used games I said no I want them new. And he then tried to sell me on the new 30% off used and i did not want the certain game used as i bought used games before and they dont work or work only for a while. He didnt apologize or care to ship my game. It's okay found the game new for a better price on amazon and will have it tomorrow. So stay far away from this unfriendly place. They dont care...
