Spencer B's BBQ — Restaurant in Ringgold

Good food, family friendly prices. Has become a regular destination Edit 3/3/20. WTH? Still great food but I've had my 1st bad experience here, and to me it's a big one.

First, note they close at 7 in this slower time of year. Not sure why it won't ever get updated on Google search.

Drive in tonight at 10 minutes before closing to a mostly full lot and several people at the walk up window. We're the second car in line at the drive-thru. Wait for a little bit and just before the truck in front of us pulls around the neon open sign turns off. Whew, just in time! So I thought. We pull up and wait for a couple minutes and hear a knock on drive-thru window glass and the employee the pointing to the sorry we're closed sign. I give her look like, huh? She opens the window and I say you've got to be kidding me you close while we're sitting in line waiting? She says let me check, and I said nevermind sorry to inconvenience you and backed out to get dinner elsewhere.

Really Spencer B's? Still my favorite barbecue place in town, obviously because I'm here at least three times a week, but this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth and it wasn't from the food. It may be a while before I come back here. Gives me a chance to sample the other barbecue offerings in town again. Who knows, maybe I'll find a...

I believe all I can say to start with and while it was beyond my belief of how great this food was the service was really good to me it took a little bit to get the food but what he expect when you talk about great food the staff there were really great really polite really nice lovely young ladies waitin on you and yes I will Definitely Would recommend this place to anyone That loves barbecue My friend tried to tell me the ribs would be All dried out but I can guarantee you ribs I head to night was not all dried out there are very moist inside and out the slaw was great I'm very picky about my slaw my only regret is that I could not eat more that what was on my plate I would like to thank the hole staff at Spencer's B's BBQ for the best dinner I have eaten from any restaurant since I have been in town hats off to you all thank you each & every one of you I...

I will say this is my go to my absolute favorite barbecue place. It has been since I moved to Ringgold and discovered it easy drive-through always nice people and the food has never not once disappointed. The killer potato is absolutely the utter bomb. The grilled cheese sandwiches and the regular pork and beef sandwiches outstanding there’s so much on the menu, but I don’t ever, explore enough because the food I get is always so satisfying . If you need a barbecue establishment, this is the one this will be my go to forever.
