With the plethora of health issues that life has chosen to bestow upon me I have been to my fair share of pharmacies in my lifetime, even a few walgreens. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by pharmacy staff. I thought maybe just maybe I caught them on a bad day, but no... every single time I have gone in it has been the same. With the exception of two of the techs whose names are currently escaping me. One of them has curly longer hair, and the other is rather young.. both of them have been eager to help me each time I have encountered them and have apologized profusely for the other employees. ANYWAY, back to the matter at hand. With me having the disease that I do, I am on a pain medication. I DO NOT cause issues, I do not try to get them a week early or anything like that. I expect them to be ready on the day they are supposed to be ready, that isn't too much to ask. There is such a stigma placed on people who get meds like that, and it needs to stop. ESP with those who are patients of cancer clinics. I am treated like a criminal or a drug addict every single time I have come in, or have called. There is one woman who works there, she is maybe in her 50s and she wears glasses, she is the worst. She has made me feel like I am 1 cm tall, and like I am doing something wrong. I was going to have a procedure out of state, I was not going to be in the hospital, but was told to stay near by. SO, I had a hotel close to the hospital. I was told to bring all of my own medication, It was around the time that it was due....the procedure was on the DAY it was due. We were leaving early that morning before the pharmacy would be open. LEGALLY they can give you your medication up to 3 days early, this was 1 day early and I asked if I could get it in the afternoon before closing. They would not do it, and said I could get my doctor to send it where I would be. HOWEVER; because my ID was out of state, I was so far from home and my doctor they wouldn't fill it and they knew that would happen. These ladies (apart from the 2) have 0 compassion or empathy, I understand that they hear things all the time and people likely lie to them but they could always call my doctor but they choose not to do so. They act as if I am a burden to them anytime I asked questions, or anytime they have had to do their jobs .. ( again apart from the 2 ladies I mentioned earlier) those 2 women are the only reason I even left 1 star. As soon as I get their names they will be the only 2 that will not be reported to corporate for the way I have been treated. I have them on recordings, so it isn't like I will be blindly going into this. ALSO I will note that PAUL who used to be there ( or maybe he still is I haven't seen him) ALSO is kind. The rest of them need classes...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible horrible experience Honestly I don't know why I keep putting myself through it. They never answer the phones, get text that meds are ready and when you get there they look at you like a deer in headlights. My latest experience was Today 08/07/23 at 11:48...I wish management would pull the video of this...Cindy at the drive thru is not a friendly person at all. I pulled up thinking,Good they aren't busy so this will be quick ..well I gave her my name she walked away for Almost 20 mins so I spoke up and said ,hello is anyone there, and Cindy said yes I'm looking for your prescription but when I got outta my car and looked inside she was putting up the prescriptions that the pharmacist has filled and needed to go into their bins...ALSO the prescription that i picked up is a controlled substance and she never even checked my id. They never ever checked I'd in the past so why should they do it today.... speaking of the past my mother is in pain management Dr sent her prescriptions to Walgreens when we went to pick them up SOMEONE in a white SUV Tennessee tags picked them up...i was belived when they told me that so i asked them to see who it was since it was a controlled medicine.....But Guess what, They didnt card the person that got them .......i Honestly thought i would give them the benefit of doubt But it Happened Once AGAIN......I'm bit sure if i will ever get meds from there again Buy its close f or my Mom......if i could give a zero or a negative number i...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been doing business here for 8 years. When I first started doing business there it had a hometown feel. Everyone in the pharmacy knew the customers by name, you could ask to speak with an actual Pharmacist and without hassle, he/she gladly obliged. Today, you couldn't get to the pharmacist of the week without a search warrant! The techs are less than helpful and trying to reach ANYONE on the phone is an impossibility. Today, the pharmacy sent me a notice that my insurance wasn't paying. I knew that, in spite of making a special trip 3 weeks ago the store to update my insurance info, they we're trying to file on the wrong insurance. I called...and called only to be told that there were more than 3 callers ahead of me. I drove there to straighten it out and then I was told that now that the insurance was straight that the pharmacist was going to play Dr and override my physician's prescription and not fill it, even though they had been filling it the same way for over 3 months! Today, I take my last pill unless Little Hitler at the pharmacy decides to fill my prescription. 9 years I've been a customer and I don't matter to them AT...
