Dion's Pizza — Restaurant in Rio Rancho

What happened to this Dions??? My family and I use to go here for years because of the great customer service and polite workers and now the last few months when we would call to place a order the workers are extremely rude, and sound like they are being bothered. This last phone call we tried making for a to go order, the worker didn’t give her name but the ENTIRE phone call she was rude, kept sighing and all around just unwelcoming. When the phone call was ending and we finished ordering we heard the worker hang up the phone by slamming it. You could literally hear the slam on the receiver. Keep in mind I was polite to her from the start to end of the conversation, I use to work in customer service myself so I know what it’s like to get some mean customers and when I’m at a store or restaurant/making a call for a to go order I always make sure I’m not difficult or rude, but the whole time I was on the phone with her I kept thinking “she sounds bothered.”

And this was the last interaction with trying to place a to go order here. The other stories from the last few months would be too much to type and have been similar, rude. And I’m left with feeling uneasy about getting my food, because of how bothered their employees sounds. If they are so careless with their attitudes and these were just phone calls, imagine how careless they are with the food because after experiencing these type of employees on the phone, our food was messed up, cold and even one time I found a twist tie thing for I assume their bread of whatever they use it for in our food.

Let me start off by saying the manager Stas (Anastasia) is amazing. Friendly and super helpful. This location is a gamble, we'll either have an issue with our order or it'll be perfect. We order extra sauce for our pizza, and also kindly tell the person taking the order to let the pizza maker know as well since they always forget to add it. We got our order (2 pizzas, Salad, drinks) and the pizza looked dry (easy sauce) no exaggeration either. I went in and spoke with Stas, and asked her what kind of sauce does she thing is on this pizza. Easy, extra or regular, and she answered honestly and said it looked like easy sauce because you can see the dough easily. She kindly offered to remake it and even offered to give a cookie to my baby while we waited. We waited about 15 minutes and got the pizza. We got home and there was extra sauce as requested, THANK YOU! now I'm gonna sound like a Karen. The pizza was now one big pie, I kid you not it's not even sliced properly. We ordered EXTRA cheese and EXTRA sausage as that's what my 15 month eats. None of that was on the pizza. Thankfully we had a pizza cutter. The Duke City Pizza was made to perfection, thank you. Now get to our Salad, the salad is slimy and wilted. Again no exaggeration. We are the meat and eggs for the salad but didn't eat the salad itself. Is there an email we can send videos to of our pizza and salad so you guys know we aren't just bullshi**ng? Called and spoke with grace, super friendly as well. But said she couldn't do anything about the one pizza because it was a remake. Buuuut the remake has additional issues as well....

I never thought a day would come when I give Dions a bad review. I've been eating there for years, but I guess every business starts to get complacent when they grow. 3 times now I've had a bad experience at this location and that's why I'm making this review. The service has been good and the employees are friendly, but the food quality has gotten bad. The first time I had a salad and there was a big piece of what appeared to be rotten chicken on top of it. I was already back at work when I discovered this, so I didn't bother to return the salad. The second time I ordered pizza with pepperoni and green chili. They made a mistake and put chicken on the pizza instead of pepperoni. Ontop of that there was barely any green chili on the pizza. Only 3 or 4 slices had a pathetic amount on them. I took the pizza regardless because my family was hungry and waiting. The third time was tonight. I recieved a pizza with no sauce. It was no different from cheese bread. It was also over cooked. The crust was noticeably burnt on the bottom.

I'm only posting this review in hopes that this locations manager sees it and tries to improve whatever is going wrong under their roof. All 3 of these orders have happened recently and all 3 are at this location. I've never had a bad experience at any of the...
