Five Guys — Restaurant in Rio Rancho

UPDATE: we have been coming here for months now! Shout out to the entire team here, seriously they cook some darn good food!!

This was about our 4-5th time here and it was the best we ever had! It’s always the same guy on the grill, he’s always respectful and is one of the best cooks for burgers 🍔 I got bacon for the first time and let me tell you I missed out every other time. Added grilled jalepeno to my well done bacon cheeseburger and that was the best add on! I really respect the salt profile in the burgers I personally like more but can add some to my liking vs it lacking salt entirely or over salted. Little cheeseburger was also ordered and one of the best eaten here. I would only come to five guys if I want a burger on this side of town, compared to grass burger this meat has way more taste and flavor, add on as many toppings as you’d like no extra charge. I haven't been to Five Guys in months and decided to grab something different tonight. Although the burgers were good, I was disappointed that I didn't get the large order or Cajun fries I had been craving more than the burger. We were the only people in the restaurant and my receipt clearly showed that I ordered cajun fries. I live 8 miles away and it wasn't worth going back for the correct fries. It might seem like a minor detail, but after paying nearly $27.00 for 2 burgers I expected to get what I ordered. In hindsight, I completely understand why we were the only people in the store and I won't be back. If you can't get 2 burgers and an order of fries right, then there aren't many other things to do.Good luck staying in business. An unfortunate visit this evening. We only ordered 3 burgers, none with tomatoes. We got the unwelcome surprise of tomatoes on one cheeseburger, so we picked them off and went without the pickles requested. Second, bacon burger no cheese, they tried hard to scrape off the cheese but the husband finished that job for them. Third, bacon cheeseburger, the bun was torn in half doing it's best to cover the patty. Well no worries there, it was barely present. I was able to remove an inch of bun from all around to find that patty. In all, maybe having an adult supervise the teenager workers to ensure they perform to the company standards could be a possible fix.
