The food wasn't bad and the 2 young sandwich makers were great, although obviously very distraught. The short story: manager/staff member's poor attitude ruined everyone's night.
On 5/31/2024 my wife and I stopped in around 730pm after the gym. An older lady, older than the other 2 workers, was mopping the entry and as we pulled up; a look of bother was on her face. I asked if they were open and she didn't say a word, just slightly nodded. Once inside we could tell the atmosphere was negative. As a young kid came from cleaning the bathroom she asked him very condescendingly if he actually did it right or if she'd have to show him how. He then proceeded to take our order to the best of his ability but the older lady started moving tables and dropping things as if to audibly show her frustration. The kid taking our order had to ask multiple times what we wanted but it was obvious it was due to the fact he couldn't concentrate due to what the older lady was doing. The other young lady behind the counter began filling the rest of our order but the experience with her was the same. Older lady goes to the bathroom and comes out, slams her palms on the checkout counter and loudy states when they're done, they both need to follow her as "it was all wrong." I really had to bite my tongue this night. I am in a management myself, so I understand things can get frustrating but that is no way to ever act with those you are entrusted to train.
I didn't even bother talking to anyone at corporate or possibly another superior as we all know it's just going to be a generic run around. These young kids are just trying to work, neither them or paying customers...
Read moreWent in with my dogs once in a carrier, the other on a leash. A random person, who turns it to be the owner of this subway and 3 others dress like a reusable person with no subway identification, he asks if my dogs are service dogs, which is illegal. They aren't but he has no signs posted saying service dogs only to let me know abed i tell him. His story was its state law and that's when i left him know he has no signs saying service dogs only and his same excuse was, it's state law. How am i suppose to know that when the IRS no sign saying so? He tries to make it up by offer water for my dog. This subway has no drive for our outside eating and I'm not going to leave my dogs in the car while they take forever to get through the people in front of my.
On top of that my "foot" long was barely 11 inches. I though subway fixed this after they got sued over it.
Long story short they don't post signs to let people know about laws only food industry people really know, ask illegal questions that can easily get them sued, amid sell subs barely 11 inches as foot longs.
The owner turned to apologize as i was taking my carrier dog out but his excuses to me were poor as he didn't seem to care that he inconvenienced me because he didn't have a simple sign. Just a "I'm sorry about that ma'am" how about a "I'll make sure to...
Read moreIf there’s a manager reading these reviews, you really need to do some correcting of behavior. I ordered curbside thankfully, my tuna sandwich was made wrong, so I went into the restaurant to get it remade. The staff was just standing around three people no customers. The food area was disgusting. The tuna had fallen over the sides of the bin that you serve it out of and there were old crusty pieces of tuna around the bin. There was even something in the tuna, like a piece of pepper or plastic, and everything was cross contaminated between bins. It looked very very sloppy an unhealthy. Thankfully, I saw that & switched to turkey which I even hesitated, canceling my order entirely because it looks like a health department nightmare. The place was filthy, and these kids are standing around doing nothing. I would find that totally unacceptable if I were the owner or manager. That place should be spotless, and they should be taught not to cross contaminate food, especially tunafish. Based on what I saw today, I would not go back there. I’m glad I was able to see it before I ate and nasty sandwich...
