Heaven Dragon Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Rio Rancho

I was very indecisive as far as how many stars because this place used to be our go to place. But TWICE now, in a row, the lady who takes my order messes it all up. I told her I wanted 2 MIXED VEGETABLE dinners with fried rice on the side. She asked what size? I’m confused because all the times I’ve ordered before no one has ever asked me what size. She argued and said they have to because it comes in 2 sizes (that should have been an indicator that she didn’t know what I wanted). My husband picks up the order, I get home excited to eat, and it’s TWO small cartons of vegetable fried rice. I was livid, so I called back. She laughed and said she misunderstood me. Stupid me, called back again 3 days later to order the exact same thing only this time I specifically told her “you messed up the last time and gave me vegetable rice, but I want 2 combo dinners” she laughed again, blamed me but said she understood this time and continued to blame me for the last mess up. (I should’ve just stopped the order there, but I had been craving it so much and for a while now) We drive there to pick it up and guess what…. EXACT SAME THING! My husband refused the order and she again blamed me. 🤦🏻‍♀️ if I have forgotten how to talk then I accept full blame, but not this time. So it’s safe to say we won’t be back.

This is my first time eating there. They do have a dining room off to the side of their front counter ordering area. We ordered the odan noodles with chicken, as well as their House Special soup, which had shrimp, bean sprouts, and sliced zucchini. They have an open kitchen, which anybody can view their prepping of your food for everyone !!! They work extremely fast, but be aware that since their food is prepared fresh, and to order, you will need the much appreciated time that it takes in order to get your meal !!! Their kitchen looks very clean and organized, with very nicely installed exhaust hoods, stoves, grills, pots and pans hung properly, for their cook's easy access !!!!! Take out menus are available off to the side of their front counter, but if you wish to dine inside, they have a family member that will help seat you, and take your order !! Their seating area is on par with one of our favorite restaurants, Dragon House , which is located across from the Sprouts grocery store , off of Alameda and Corrales road !!!!! Customers beware! Husband and I were there last Friday and what we both seen was so gross. We had ordered 2 Wonton Soup to go it was around 8:12pm, and one of the cooks started cleaning the back splash splashing liquid from the rag all over the stove where they were cooking. Then he proceeded to use a MOP on the same wall all while our wonton was being cooked in a pot without a lid. Detergent from the mop was splashing in and out of the pot where our Wonton was being cooked. We couldn't believe our eyes. They knew something was wrong because they could see it in our face that we were disgusted. I don't understand how they can think that is ok. Needless to say my husband didn't want me to make a scene and confront them. We took our soup home, and put them in the trash. Thinking about going back and see what else happens and record and report them. Makes me wonder what else they do when people...
