Heard from friends they had great pizza. Stopped in at the Coors location one evening. Sat at table with my wife, no greeting or service for 15 minutes. Only 2 people sitting at bar talking to bartender. I finally got up and requested a menu. Was told sorry kitchen closed 10 minutes ago. Said well we have been sitting here over 15 minutes, you could have had the decency to at least acknowledge us sitting there 15 minutes. Well no big deal we found another place to eat that night. Well saw that Rio Rancho had a hopper as well. Went Tuesday at 11:30 am. Sat at bar, no one else was in . Sat there 10 minutes with employees walking back and forth but was never asked if I needed something. Got up and walked out, none said anything as I left. Well today it was 12:15 and I thought three times a charm I’ll give them yet another chance. This time a table of 6 were sitting and I the only other person walked in and sat at bar. Waitress/ bartender was directly in front of me. No hello, no I’ll be with ya in a minute, no need a menu? Shortly after she disappeared. I sat there and thought to myself wow. Then I looked up and saw a sign displayed behind bar that says “ be back in 10 minutes, if it has been 10 minutes re read the sign”. What a total waste of time, have no idea how their food is nor how their beer is. Overall with 3 visits I wasted a full hour of my life. I’ll never go back and I’ll never make a recommendation for anyone to go there. Crappies service I’ve ever seen. They should get decent employees. If zero stars was an option I would have picked that over the 1 star I gave them that isn’t...
Read moreWas new to the area & had been here with a friend for lunch. Decided to order pizza and have my husband pick it up on his way home from work. Upon his arrival, the staff was unaware of my call in order. Come to find out, they have 2 locations! I was totally unaware of this fact! I tried to call the location very far South from our home to explain my mistake but the music was BLASTING & they could not hear me. The crew at their North location were slammed and it took forever for them to work our order in with the numerous other orders. Took over an hour after hubby’s arrival! When he got home, the pizzas were terrible! The crusts were burnt and there were few toppings. They didn’t even resemble the ones I had with my friend. Later, I checked our bank account & the South location had dug up an old Door Dash account & charged us for the pizzas I UNKNOWINGLY called in to the wrong location🤦🏼♀️. So we paid $70 for 2 pizzas! I called & called the South location and could never get anyone to answer the phone. I even went by the South location numerous times, when I was in the area, and never found the location open! I was extremely disappointed! I support local businesses! And the sit down lunch was delicious! Obviously, the owner...
Read moreA True Gem: Cienna and The Hopper Set the Standard The Hopper isn't just a bar; it's an experience, and the incredible atmosphere starts right behind the bar with Cienna. This spot is an absolute must-visit, earning every single one of these five stars. From the moment we walked in, the service was phenomenal—genuinely pleasant and attentive, making everyone feel welcome and taken care of, even when things got busy. Cienna is a true professional; she's quick with a drink recommendation and always has a smile. The vibe here is just unmatched. They play genuinely good music—the kind that makes you want to stay for one more round without having to shout over it. It strikes that perfect balance of being lively yet relaxed. It's clear that this level of quality and hospitality starts at the top. A huge thank you to the owners, John and Destiny, for creating such a wonderful local establishment. The commitment they show to their staff and their customers truly shines through, making The Hopper the best neighborhood hangout around....
