Albertsons Market — Local services in Rio Rancho

We have been shopping with Albertson's/Albertson's Market for almost 25years. After my experience today we will no longer be shopping at your stores. We will keep our shopping activity with Smith's, Sprouts and Costco. The meat manager accused me of lying and trying to pass off a higher grade of meat for a sale one. There was one New York Strip in the 4.97 bin which I took. I grabbed a 2nd from the higher priced bin. Immediately after the bin was empty the meat manager refilled the 4.97 New York Strip bin. I then went and put back the higher priced one and grabbed a 2nd one from the 4.97 bin. At the register they both rang up $6,99. I walked back with the checkout manager to show the bin I took steaks from. The meat manager then accused me of trying a bait and switch. Instead of saying that he probably mistakenly put higher priced steaks in the sale bin he turns around and accuses me of lying. I have no problem if the steaks were in the wrong bin and was happy to exchange for the sale ones. My problem is with being accused of lying and really accusing me of attempting to steal. For that I cannot in good conscience do business with Alberton's anymore. No sale item is worth the gross disrespect the meat manager shows customers. The local Albertsons on 528 has become the worst store in Rio Rancho! I have shopped at this store for over 30 years. It has gone through many changed but this is by far the worst. They used to have the best of everything in Rio Rancho and it was worth the extra cost to shop there but they don’t anymore. They built a giant store on the other side of town where all the new houses are. Since then they stopped caring about this store, the stock they keep or the loyal customers. They have virtually nothing SUGAR FREE anymore. Not even popsicles. They used to have sugar free pies and not they don’t . I asked at the bakery and they said oh…..we have to order them 2 weeks in advance. 3 months later still none. Nearly 16% of the population is diabetic. People are trying to eat healthier and Albertsons is working hard to keep everyone sick. I very specifically ask ever before the new store opened if it was going to change anything here and they all said we were told no. Today I asked why they don’t carry anything sugar free anymore and I was told this isn’t a regular grocery story anymore. It’s just a market so we don’t keep everything like they used to. I placed a large pre-order on line through the app for sandwich trays. I picked up and paid for the sandwiches at the store on the scheduled pick up day. About a week and a half later I was charged again for the sandwiches through on the app. I called customer service through the app and they could not find my acc or order, I called the store and they seem to have no record of my payment and can't trace it through my order number. I unfortunately no longer have the receipt and paid with cash. There were a few employees who were gracious and attempted to assist me however the last employee who I spoke to acted like I was lying about the whole situation and even laughed at me.... To whoever pocketed the $86.00 dollars and change I paid at the store for these sandwiches you are very welcome for the free money. I will never come back to this store.
