I am never shopping at this McDonalds again or at least a years suspension. If I see her face in the window I'm just going to cancel my order and drive off. I went to order some food in the drive thru. And I clearly asked for a cup of water. I get to the window and she charged me for a bottled water, some African American young woman (I just mention race so hopefully the owner reads this and figure out which one rolled her eyes at me. I am African American too.) I say I asked for a cup of water. She just looked super puzzled. I y they always give me a free cup of water. Then she was still looking puzzled so she rolled her eyes at me meaning she is calling me stupid and McDonald's never give out free cups of water (Well she is the stupid one because there is such a thing as a free cup of water at McDonalds.). Finally she only offered me a kids cup of water, I canceled my order and left, that was 4 or 5 weeks ago on a Thursday at 2pm. These dirty, nasty, rude body gestures that people do are only a way to still talk nasty to you when they cannot talk nasty to you. Another time I went in there just to see if they give out regular size cups of water and they did. The third time I tested them they gave me a little cup of water you can only see under a microscope and refused to give me a little more water I asked them for until I canceled my entire order. Then and only then they agreed to give me a little more water but it was too late I was already pissed so I just canceled my entire order on them. Read moreI gave them a 3 stars because: Good: -Speed of service -General Hospitality and Customer Service -Cleanliness Not-so-good: -Accessibility from street -Food Quality (on occasion) Extended Responce: I have never had any problems with my orders here what-so-ever, I was raised in Oak Park/ River Forest and although I don't eat at McDonald's regularly I have been to this one a fair amount of times in my life. The only problem accessibility wise that they have is being on Harlem Ave and not being the easiest to enter or exit. They have a exit gate but in the years since its been remodeled and the gate has been there I have never seen it open. The inside is kept moderately clean (as clean as you could hope its nothing exceptional though). The food quality is not bad but the fries and burgers will every once in a while come out lukewarm. I have worked in the food industry most of my life and understand that sometimes its a bit hard to keep things pipping hot and fresh so this is not a big deal to me. The drive through is made well with a good amount of room for cars to get around who aren't in line. Tips of improvement (I know my 10 cents isn't worth much but if management sees this maybe it will help) You could potentially cut the fence in front of the restaurant and sidewalk 10 feet more south to make the entrance/exit a tad bit bigger with a sign saying Welcome dividing the entrance in half (about 10 ft for enterance and 6-10 ft for exit side). If that was done than cars entering would have an easier time and leaving would be a easier task when entering back...
Read moreI'd leave negative stars if I could. Horrible and rude service. Ordered curbside pickup a few weeks ago and there was a light drizzle outside. The lady who brought out the food was SO rude, going as far as to tell us that she was inconvenienced by walking 10 feet to give us our order. Then, a different day, we order a steak, egg, and cheese bagel with a hash brown. We received an egg and cheese bagel with no hash brown. Today we made the mistake is returning and ordered curbside again. I was blown away with how we were treated. After 5 or so minutes of waiting we go inside to check on the order. They tell us it's still being made, which is no big deal, we go back outside to wait. A minute later, the same middle age Hispanic woman that was so rude to us last time comes out and says something I couldn't believe. She tells us, with the same horrible accusatory attitude as last time, that our order had been sitting around, and that there was no car in the curbside spot until just that moment... Between us patiently waiting, and even going inside to check our order status, this is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, our order was missing the hash brown again!!
