Dropped by at the last minute to pick up the very first pair of tap shoes for my daughter. The customer service was excellent; the warm and welcoming salesperson helped size my daughter and talked through with me the way shoes should fit. The salesperson also was very knowledgeable about dance in the area (she correctly guessed where my daughter was taking classes with the answer to just a few questions) and in dance wear. She accurately recommended sizes of dance apparel by just looking at my daughter, which is great because I would probably have ended up getting a size smaller than she recommended and she was spot on. My daughters went for a scheduled shoe fitting with host family. Fitter refused to give them a fitting because they couldn’t commit to buying today. Hard to commit to buying shoes without knowing if they’ll fit or not and we don’t live in the same city. We would have gladly paid for shoes if they found something that works. Would have even paid for a fitting if we didn’t purchase something. It’s very hard to go to fittings with their intensive schedules year round and to be turned away is terribly unprofessional and disappointing to say the least. Norma and the ladies here are always top notch-5 stars, we’ve been coming here for 12 years now. Friendly, knowledgeable, and always professional- while making a customer feel at home and like a friend. That’s why we come here instead of online ordering. But I will say something in the store seemed different and I couldn’t quite put a finger on it. Everyone in black with a touch of somber.
