Let me start by saying that I would have let the entire situation go if I had gotten an apology. On Saturday night I called and asked the establishment about their pizza and wing special. I was told over the phone that it was $25.99 for a large pizza and 20 wings. I said that I would decide my flavors and call back. When I called back and placed my order, I was given a new total of $37. I was highly confused as I'd JUST called and was quoted a price of $25.99. I was explaining this to the person on the phone when I was snappily cut off and told that "it was $34 when I called the first time." Figuring I may have heard it wrong, I simply said okay and hung up. However my phone automatically records all my calls, so I played back our phone call just for reassurance that I wasn't crazy. Sure enough, when I listened back to our phone call, she clearly stated that it was $25.99.
Mistakes happen all the time and I was prepared to let it go. However when I showed up to pick up my order and told her that she misquoted the price, she blamed it on ME. She stated that "it's loud in the building and you probably misunderstood us." That was quite infuriating being that I have a literal recording of what she said, but I once again was prepared to let it go. My final straw was when she was packing my order and appeared to be talking about me to one of her co-workers. I couldn't hear exactly what was said, so perhaps she wasn't; however the coworker kept glancing at me during the conversation, and I can put two and two together.
Once again mistakes happen all the time, but at the very least you can OWN your mistakes. A simple "I'm sorry" or "my bad" would have cleared the situation. But to be snippy with me over the phone, blame your mistake on me when I got there, and proceed to talk about me while packing my order is crazy. It's never that hard to have some accountability and simply apologize. Hopefully as a manager she learns from this experience and handles future situations...
Read moreOur first time here and unfortunately our last and not because of the food. The food we had was 5 star! It was delicious! It came out quick and hot. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with food suggestions. The first issue was, they use purple Fabuloso to clean the tables with. That is no no especially in the food industry. That stuff has been banned in other countries due to the harmful effects it has on people. A gentleman was wiping tables as we waited for our food. I should have said something then but didn’t. I know the waitresses saw me covering my nose from the smell, which I did so I would have an asthma attack. Thank goodness we had just finished our delicious food and our waitress starts to clean the tables behind us. I’m not sure why because they were already cleaned. Maybe she thought we would leave faster. Which he had to because she sprayed that stuff right next to us as my SIL was drinking and the scent went right up her nose. The drinks she and my husband had were not good at all anyway but she definitely did not want to waste an entire Long Island. My husband finally called the waitress over and told her the issue with the spray and she said oh sorry and stopped spaying it. Unfortunately it had already affected us and we had to leave because of it. My husband used the restroom before leaving and said it was very dirty. And the one waitress walked out of the bathroom without washing her hands.
Calzone - Delicious Chicken parm sub - Delicious Drinks - horrible
They have a stage with instruments set up for live music and there are pool tables.
Would not go back for dine in, maybe carry out. But if the bathrooms are that dirty, how clean can...
Read moreMy 1st time visiting this place. I was looking for some good pasta in the area & came here based upon the good reviews. Upon entry i wasn’t sure if i was to seat myself & wait on a server or order my food at the counter then sit. Still don’t know the protocol. Looks as if the bartender & cashier just assist whoever whenever. (Again, I’m not saying this is how it normally is but this was my experience) i ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was literally MICROWAVED PASTA. Taste exactly like the Michelina brand from the frozen section. The main thing that disappointed me was that i was actually going to run to the grocery store to buy frozen pasta but i was like nahhhhh i need the REAL DEAL so i chose to come here. I definitely won’t choose this place for pasta again but i wouldn’t mind coming back to try the pizza & wings since that seems to be the go to here. I love a sports bar & the atmosphere gives what u need as far as that for sure. 3 pool tables, air hockey table & a few other games to play makes it worth coming back by to hang out w friends. I wanted to order a drink & finish watching the game but as i was approaching the cashier to do so he walked outside as i was approaching. After standing there for a couple minutes another gentleman approached & asked was i ready to close out so i did just that. Paid my tab & left. Doesn’t seem like this is the place to be if you’re looking to be SERVED or if you’re looking for REAL ALFREDO PASTA, But if u just want to grab a pizza & shoot some pool & watch some sports this is definitely a nice spot to do so. Hopefully i can change my rating if i ever come back to try the...
