So apparently, this waffle house charges you to get your food TO-GO. No where in this location; by the registers or when you’re walking in states they will charge you 10% for To-Go’s. Waffle House needs to pay their to go person a lot more.
The same food that I order at the ones off Tara Boulevard, Newnan or Sharpsburg charges me no more than $22.50 for two meals, while this location wanted to charge me $37. That’s a $14.50 mark up.
I don’t eat meat. No other Waffle House charges me for a meal with meat, then has me pay extra for eggs. It’s always an even exchange. Which promotes amazing customer service and loyalty.
All I wanted was 3 eggs, hash browns with mushroom and cheese, raisin bread toast, and a waffle. Two meals of this should never be $37.
The fact that they didn’t give me the price until after the food was made and bagged up; is what made me more mad because I don’t like wasting food, and you were forcing me to pay for the food. The manager lowered the price from $37 to $32.71 … so I asked for a refund. He needs to train each employee to say if you’re ordering TO-GO, there will be a service fee for that.
I had to drive to a different Waffle House, just to get my food at the price it should have been which is $22.50. I’m from Miami, Fl. And even when I’m home, no Waffle House charges me how this location in Riverdale has.
Waffle House needs to make a menu item for folks like me that don’t want meat. So we aren’t being forced to pay for meat & forced to pay add ons that should be an even exchange. Meat cost more money than adding an extra egg. It’s $3.95 for sausage, bacon or ham. While an extra egg is .50
Came back to this location again 🤦🏽♀️
Wanted to eat inside. It was 9:05pm I get to the door and the guy in the photo yells “window” we closed inside. He was just outside talking to this woman, while the other two it’s hanging up and making food. Do not come here. terrible...
Read moreThe service seemed friendly when I got there. I ordered an All Star breakfast w/ hash browns, bacon, & scrambled eggs w/ cheese. I also ordered a Texas cheese steak wrap plate- add bacon & jalapenos, and 2 LG Orange juices.
Everything went downhill fast! I was told that there were no to-go eating utensils. My bill came up to a little over $26- I have them $30, and I let them keep the change as tip thinking I had gotten order... Wish I had never left tip, let alone stepped into Waffle House at all for that matter!
When I got home, I found out they had NOT put the bacon in my wrap & the wrap was so poorly put together that it had already fallen apart into 2 separate pieces (it was NOT cut in 1/2)! I paid extra for jalapenos- there were like only 3 in the entire wrap! I asked for hash browns w/ my All Star meal- they gave me grits!
While I was there, 2 ppl popped up for pick-up orders that had been previously called in. I called back to Waffle House over 10 times to complain about my order, and NO ONE EVER PICKED UP THE PHONE! I KEPT GETTING SOME BS RECORDING ABOUT THEM NOT BEING ABLE TO ANSWER THE PHONE DUE TO HELPING OTHER CUSTOMERS IN THE RESTAURANT! Funny how they had no problems answering the phone while I was there though! WAFFLE HOUSE HAS JUST LOST ME & MY FAMILY AS CUSTOMERS FOR LIFE THIS...
Read moreReally need to make "0" stars available. I just went to my local WH. While still in the car deciding what we would have we noticed two extremely heavy set waitresses dancing behind the counter on the to go side. My friend went into order and soon came back out. She is originally from Haiti but has been in this country for 35 years. She was upset because the woman taking her order was complaining that she couldn't understand her because of her accent. It is true there are sheltered people who have never been anywhere or seen any other cultures and are very quick to criticize another one even though they are trying to adapt to ours here. In this case the waitress was rude. My friend usually gets a hash brown breakfast bowl but takes chicken instead of sausage. This waitress told her she had to buy it complete then pay an additional $4 for the chicken. Come on WH. Clean house. This is not what you're about. I'm used to good food and pleasant friendly staff at Riverdale Waffle House. Not rude culturally insensitive bigotry. This was probably my last...
