Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Riverside

It was a very hot day when the wife and I stopped by to grab a quick something to take home for dinner. I checked the time, and noted it was 1:PM and we opted to go in side to order hoping it would be a cooler inside. I ordered a chicken salad and she ordered a standard burger with fries. My first surprise was Carl's charges $1.00 for the privilege of using my debit card. Fortunately, I can use the credit card method and they cannot charge me for that. The order was quickly placed and we sat down to wait for our meal. I noted it was now 1:05 PM. We sat and watched as the time went by and eventually we got our food. At the time of delivery, I looked at my watch again and noted the time was now 1:25PM. 20 minutes to toss a salad and cook up a burger? When we got home, I sat down to eat the salad and noted it had 3 one inch pieces of chicken sitting on top. I felt ripped off. Carl's applies what amounts to a 10 percent tax to your order if you use your debit card, they make you wait 20 minutes for a simple order, and they cheat your order when you finally get it. I will never do business in this establishment again, nor will I recommend to any of my friends...

Tonight I received very bad service while in the drive through the lady I can't pronounce her name her name started with that letter I was very short when taking your order with a very bad attitude after getting up to the window they asked me to pull around to the front I waited roughly about 8 minutes for them to bring my order out they forgot two of my items when I went into the store to tell them , the lady whom assuming was the manager had a smile on her face and said oh we forgot your zucchini I explain to her you also forgot the chicken strips and I explain to her your attitude was very bad she might want to change her attitude and the service was terrible because, I had to walk back inside the store after waiting 8 minutes for my order. so yes very unpleased with this location I'm not the first person that's had a problem with this location. I've been told by a few different people that that was the worst Carl's jr. They've ever been to. I guess it was my turn to experience it. Pretty sure they committed a health code violation. I'm not sure what's wrong with this 92503 area fast food but it's definitely a lot worse than where we moved from. I got a burger from here and specifically mentioned no bacon. They agreed and handed me the burger. I asked the girl again, no bacon right, she said yes. I said mind if I make sure? And opened the bag and guess what, bacon. I gave it back and said please make me a new one I can't have bacon. Then real quickly I got one back and I asked are you sure no bacon in this one she said yes all irritated. So I went home and started eating the burger and halfway got a strip of, you guessed it, bacon! I was livid. I knew that all they had done was taken the bacon off and left one behind. So I went back with the sandwich and complained and the manager who I'm sure made the burger was really rude to me. Said Idk what you want me to do?
