I was walking around downtown Riverside and happened to stumble upon this coffee shop when I noticed a small sign on the ground with the menu listing their different coffee drinks as well as snacks and food I decided to give this place a shot. I walked in and was greeted by a couple servers and made my order at the counter. I'd ask for a red velvet latte and there are avocado toast which you can get with almost any bread type you want including sourdough and rye and it's only $5 plus if you add an extra $1 you get an egg on top and you can have it however you want it. Scrambled over easy Sunny side up fried they'll make it for you. The president behind the counter was very patient and informative of all their items which is very helpful considering that this is the first time at this place. The the place gives off a nice hole in the wall coffee shop that has a lot of character but feels like a nice place you can go to grab some coffee and a quick bite to eat. I was able to get my order very quickly and the quality of their stuff is very on point. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who enjoys coffee and needs a quick bite to eat. I would...
Read moreI used to love this place when I had jury duty- like eat there morning and breaks for coffee and lunch- after today never again. The front counter person was super soft spoken and I could not hear him and there were not too many people in there. The entire establishment smelled of filth, trash, sour dairy something! I tried to ignore the smell, ordered my salad and soft drink and sat down. My table was sticky, my drink tasted like they cleaned the soft drink dispensing machine with a stale sponge. The more I looked around the more disgusting it was. Coffee machines were filthy, people in the kitchen were not clean, no hair nets, stoking their hair then serving food without gloves directly after combing their hair with their hands. I couldn’t. They brought my salad to me and I didn’t even attempt to eat it. I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen is if the rest of the establishment and staff are like that. I threw away my salad and drink and walked out - I didn’t want to risk getting sick from the lack of cleanliness and sanitation of staff. Sorry but won’t be going back and it...
Read moreCute and friendly coffee shop! We usually go to the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf during the Festival of Lights but we came across this little place for the first time and loved it! Staff was welcoming and helpful, and when we couldn't decide what to get, their suggestions were fantastic! I got the Warm Spice latte (described to me as like pumpkin spice without the pumpkin) and I think I've got a new fave holiday tradition now! Also there's such interesting art all over the walls, and see the attached picture for a seasonal events sign. I'm gonna have to remember to come by every month now to see what's coming up and see if there's new art to enjoy! The art on the wall is for sale and was very fun to look at during the short wait for our drinks. Overall, A++ and we'll definitely...
