Raincross Hotel Riverside — Hotel in Riverside

Motel is updated and has clean rooms. Fast wifi. Disturbances and homeless outfont screaming and getting aressted all 4 nights of my stay. The rooms are very small though just enough room for 1 queen bed. The room has a fridge but no microwave, that would be great to have. Pool with no hottub...The main problem with this motel, is not the motels fault, but its in an awful area. This block is terrible. All 4 nights of my stay has had incidents with deranged, aggressive and violent homeless in the street in front of the motel. I even have photos of the police arresting someone at 3am in front, that i could see from my window. Another night i actually called 911 because a violent homeless was screaming out in front of the motel for 10 minutes. I know he was probably mentally insane but still....Also the Trains go by all night honking through the night. And i wake up in the morning to find several people sleeping in a homeless camp right outfront of the motel on the grass 50 feet from my room, with an open motel style door thats open to anyone who wants to walk up. The doors locked but you can hear them the whole time ive been here. Im a 26 year old man and i wouldnt stay in this area again. Do not stay here if you are a single woman the area is not safe. You will not be able to walk around after dark. The photo is of the cops who came to arrest a different deranged homeless. This wasnt the night i had called but...

My name is Navia Cri Worst service and horrible manners ; I’ve never been so hurt && embarrassed of my life ! So basically last night it was a state of an emergency ! I had came in from Las Vegas && I had left my cards in a rush and I needed a place to sleep it was 4am in the morning I know late check in but my friend had prepaid the room now get this we had called behand and the man had led us on that I would be able to get the room ! Then I had drove here and to be kicked out on the streets the guy running it last night had made me feel uncomfortable and basically was no help I told him I have no where else my friend had already paid and was on FaceTime still nothing and his words were it’s not my problem and he didn’t even look me in the eye I’m a 22year old African American woman and I was forced to sleep in my cold car because this man didn’t or couldn’t even help me and his words it’s not my problem !!! After we called and said he could help honestly it’s not like I wasn’t paying or willing to pay extra but after my long drive it was just honestly devastating ... I wish I got his name but I was just already just in shock he refused me my room smh .... if I could give this place...

Overall for the price this was a fine hotel, with a few minor issues but no huge detractors. The room itself was small but decently sized, single king bed. The TV allowed HDMI and also had basic cable, huge plusses. The mini fridge was nice, but the lack of a microwave less so. There was room in the wall unit for a microwave, I assume they were once there but removed for electrical reasons? Not a huge deal. The bed itself was very comfortable and clean, no bugs or pests to be found. The pillows were the usual hotel soft. The restroom had a nice warm shower with jets, a toilet that could flush a dozen golf balls, and a hair dryer. The living room/bedroom was okay. The chairs were hard, and the table small but useable. I appreciated the ability to fully open the window to let fresh air in. The AC unit/heater worked wonderfully, and the door locked secure.

My only downside is that there was no breakfast, which is to be expected of a hotel of this kind; Also no laundry facilities at the hotel. There is a laundry room that's only accessible by the cleaning staff. The parking lot is also pretty small, and hard to find parking after...
