PSA for people reading reviews; this (legit Korean fried chicken) spot just opened 1 month ago (Sept 2024) and it’s the first REAL OG fried chicken spot in Riverside that’s comparable to the OC and Korea!

The only reviews that are negative are referring to the wait time* NOT the quality or taste of the chicken.

This is real Korean fried chicken, NOT KFC/Fast food. If you’re craving “fast cheap food” this is not the place. Real Korean Fried Chicken takes a minimum of 15-20 minutes, strictly due to the fact that everything is made fresh and on the spot.

Flavors we ordered were the OG, Special Sauce and Soy Garlic. Ordered in ranking. OG (can’t be beat) Soy Garlic (better than Kyochon in Korea!) Special Sauce

As for the restaurant itself, the service, ambiance, lighting and most importantly the food taste and quality is exactly what you’d expect from any Bb.q Chicken chain. Additionally, the owners, Mr. & Mrs. You and their son William, are such a grateful addition to the family run businesses in Riverside who put so much effort back into the community. As a fairly new IE resident, I’m beyond grateful to say the least with this new spot opening up and giving us the much needed diversity of food options. This is hands-down the BEST BBQ Chicken location I’ve ever been to—and I’ve tried a lot.

Every piece of chicken here is made fresh to order, and you can taste the difference immediately. Nothing sits under a heat lamp. The crunch is unreal, the meat is juicy, and the flavors hit hard in the best way. I ordered the Golden Original and Secret Spicy, and both were perfectly seasoned and fried to crispy perfection. It’s next-level Korean fried chicken.

The interior is also super clean, modern, and welcoming—a major step up from other locations. It’s the kind of place you actually want to sit down, relax, and enjoy your food in.

Service was fast and friendly, and even with everything made fresh, the wait wasn’t long at all. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do.

If you’ve tried BBQ Chicken before, trust me—this Riverside location is different. It’s on a whole other level. And if you haven’t been yet, you’re in for a treat. This place is now my go-to. I’ll be back again...

Quality of food / chicken not good ! I used to order here at my lunch break from work when they just opened. Chicken with honey garlic sauce was so good. Chicken was cooked perfectly, snd crunchy. After a couple months of ordering, the same order i bought ( chicken wings with honey garlic sauce ) the chicken was saggy, and meat inside was looking pink and undercooked ? I took a bite and immediately return to the restaurant as i was spending a lot with the other items I’ve ordered. Instead of replacing the raw meat as a courtesy to say the least, they brought it back to us and chicken was burn. Oh my golly. Never again. Also noticed the don’t even included their side pickles anymore on their lunch menu special . No free dipping sauce on our order for the onion fries either & cheese ring. They will charge you $2.50 for the dipping sauce which i think is ridiculous. They only come in ketchup. Very...
