This is an inconspicuous place in the back corner of a grocery strip mall. Don't judge this book by its cover. Enter and find a delightful and quaint restaurant with a traditional Mexican flare. Tortillas are made from scratch and the food is delicious. A simple Enfrijolada paired with either their smoky red salsa or the organic green salsa is absolutely delicious. The hash on the Huevos Rancheros is made of bell peppers, onions and tomatoes, and it adds a lift to the traditional breakfast plate. The price is highly reasonable and affordable, allowing you to have a delicious meal with a loved one for $25. Remember those days? The staff is friendly and courteous, but they are focused on preparing good food, so don't take offense if you don't get full eye contact. This is in high competition for being a favorite Mexican place in town. More visits are required to try other dishes and to evaluate consistency, but this first stop put it at the top of my list. P.S. Homemade Tamales of 4 different kinds...
Read more3 burritos an order of nachos. Was given burritos so small they look like Tina burritos from grocery store. Spent $40 always willing to waite. Yet!!! I noticed the burritos were small so asked for extra beans or asked were they out of beans, was told more being made yet cook/ cashier was scraping the bean pan to put beans on items. I've been coming here 2 years mainly during the day yet lovvve their salsa. My family normally split the burritos yet this time my family said rice was hard, no beans, chicken dry and pushed them aside. I called, was offered to re make food bring back, but i shouldn't have to come back. Ill pay for extra portion yet i was not asking for extra, yet my family had been waiting 40 mins to eat. I'm very disappointed. Feel like the night crew on Sundays are too chatty to keep products fresh. I want to not come back but we love their salsa. I guess only day time cooks the lady is only one who gives quality portions. $8 a (2 chicken, 1 asada burrito $11 for chicken nachos....
Read moreI’ve been coming here since 2016 and have never been disappointed in their food. Prices have definitely gone up significantly, but it’s understandable with the way everything has gotten more expensive. I recommend their asada quesadilla with corn tortilla (they hand make their corn tortillas) and red salsa. Overall recommend this place without hesitation to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food. Their food is delicious, the workers are very welcoming, and they make you feel right at home. I live out of state now but still make it a goal to stop by when I visit the area. You...
