La Michoacana Sabrosa — Restaurant in Riverside

I'm new to riverside and have been hearing about this place a lot. We went in finally after a year now. I'll be 100% honest it was not worth it. We got multiple items just to get the full experience. The elote was disappointing, much better finding your local elote man then from this place. Also for the raspado both vanilla and strawberry, I would give it a 2 out of 5 stars. The picture on the wall looked nothing like what we got. We got ice creams, both on a stick and in the cup. The stick was good but definitely in the cup was the best. One scoop of watermelon and one of Mango. Overall I would give it a 3 star but we went back to a different location and got Mango with everything on it. It was so delicious so just based on that I'll give a five star. Just don't waste your money on anything other than the ice cream. And stay away...

My family and I came in for some delicious ice cream and I immediately walk in to see pissed off employee faces which threw me off. Their ice cream has absolutely no labels so we have to ask what flavor is what and when we asked for samples the lady completely ignored us despite being right in front of her face. When I asked for a double scoop she barely scraped the ice cream barrel and gave me a ridiculously low portion of ice cream. Then instead of giving us regular spoons she gave wooden flat sticks to eat our ice cream...I am never Ever coming to this location. I'd rather buy a gallon of ice cream at Stater Bros. than eat the amount they gave me here. Terrible Place...

I would give 0 stars to this place if possible, I don't know who owns this place now but the attendant at this place is new. She wasn't Wearing gloves, while touching the food, she Wiped her month, and waz scratching her head while preparing food and got very mad when I asked her very politely to please wear gloves to prepare the food, she even dropped some ice cream cones and kicked them in front of me and my kids instead of picking them up to trash them. Honestly I am grossed out and will never come back to this place. It was a pretty nasty experience. My kids thew away their ice cream because they felt the same way... it used to be...
