Came in for breakfast since I didn’t have time to cook at home, and I’m glad I did. Norms really delivered. I ordered their 1 lb T-bone steak with country potatoes and extra scrambled eggs- everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful. The steak was grilled just right, not tough or chewy like some places, and the potatoes were golden and well-seasoned. The eggs were fluffy and not overcooked. You can tell they care about the quality of the food here.

What really stood out was the service. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome. They were super friendly, constantly checking in to make sure everything was okay, refilling my coffee, and keeping a great attitude throughout. It’s rare to find service like this anymore, and it really made the experience better.

The restaurant is large, spacious, and very clean. High ceilings, wide walkways, and plenty of seating make it feel comfortable even during busy hours. There’s a big parking lot out front which made it easy to get in and out. The ambiance is nice and relaxed, no loud music or chaos - just a good spot to enjoy a hearty meal.

Funny detail: there was an armed guard standing inside while I ate. Not sure if he’s guarding the eggs or just keeping the peace, but it added a random sense of safety and humor to the visit 😂.

Prices are affordable considering the portions and quality. You get great value here. Tables are already stocked with all the basics: ketchup, syrup, jelly, etc. so you don’t have to wait on anything.

Overall, a solid experience. If you’re in Riverside and want a filling breakfast or lunch with kind service and a welcoming vibe, this place is definitely worth it....

I hate to leave a bad review because I really liked this place. Well not today, I came in with my family about 8:30 am and was sat down. I noticed the bathrooms were out of order and asked my waiter if the bathroom would be open soon. He stated it would be about an hour till it would open back again. I thought a hour should be to bad. We order our drinks and food. About 30min had passed by by the time we received our food and the bathroom was still not working. I had already had 3 cups of coffee and had to use the bathroom really bad but our food was just arriving. I asked another waiter how much longer would the bathroom be out of service. Again I was told a hour. At this point I was unable to enjoy my food. I informed the waitresses that I was pregnant and I really need to use the bathroom and if they could let me use another if available. The waitresses then went to ask for me and unfortunately I was informed that I was not able to. I then explained to the waitresses that it was a little unfair that do to there restrooms not working I was now forced to leave the restaurant and not even enjoy my food. It is now 10:15 and the bathrooms were still out of order and I was still charged for the food we did not eat with a discount of 20% and a 10 dollar card for when we come back which we won't ever use because I will never come back. I think that if you are running a restaurant that is extremely busy on a Sunday morning the least you can do is let your customers know that the bathrooms aren't working and you do not know when they will be working. This should be illegal and you shouldn't be able to keep letting people in till the issue...

Watch out for the management in this place. There is Austin who took 30 minutes to come to our table after requesting to speak to him about the time it took to get seated. After he came to the table he said he had proof it took less time than we stated. After telling him to go and get it, it took him another 30 min. Our food took a long time to get there as well. Dominic CLAIMS to be a manager but after his loud boisterous display it is highly doubtful. He came and took our food and told us to get out. I guess he didn't like that we challenged where the other so called manager got his information since it was hand written on the back of receipt paper and there were no times written on the waiting list. He said we must have forgotten our crown. I called back to get the names of the managers on duty and Dominic got on the phone and told me "Dont worry about my last name Mary Falls at 951--! We called the police". The management is a joke there. Maybe they hired the best if the worst. True qualified management would never stand in the middle of a restaurant with many customers around and yell at another customer. This is definitely going...
