I have 17years of customer service experience and I’ve never encounter this type of behavior in my life. Jack in the box should be about quality and customer service; however this property lacks this and much more because of management. Let me give an insight on the situation; I approached the speaker in the drive through as, I usually do, whilst I was saying my order a transient approach me at my window and asked for something to eat. I was caught of guard and I couldn’t even finish placing my order. I had to tell the cashier to give me a second because I was being interrupted; the cashier had no problem waiting and did repeat the order after i had continued & finished with my order, but at this moment I was already disoriented because the transient said he was going to wait for me at the other side of the drive through for his food. I pulled up to the window and got my food. I arrived to my job site and as I was ready to have my breakfast I had realized my breakfast croissant had bacon. I was upset and I asked my husband if he would be able to go and see if they can make an exchange for the correct order.(we are both vegetarians,so i had said no ham no meat) The manager who was onsite refused to refund or replace the croissants; my husband tried to explained the situation to the manager . The manager simply stated that they had repeated the order and that I had agreed with it and that it was my problem. At this moment my husband tried to explain again to them that they have a homeless problem outside their building and that’s why I was distracted; the manager once again said that she couldn’t do anything about it. The worst part of all this is that the manager acknowledge that there is homeless problem outside the building and she said,” it’s 1 out of 20 paying customers that get approached by a homeless."
In the end, my husband left the croissants at the register and walked out frustrated because he couldn’t understand why management didn’t care to replace the croissants or why she didn't care that homeless people where outside bothering customers. He did leave saying to the manager that this is not how you treat your paying customers and he simply walked out. NO REFUND, NO EXCHANGE,NO BREAKFAST ONLY a firm DECISION FROM MANAGEMENT TO DO NOTHING!!! I thought it was convenient to come to this location because it was close to work but they have homeless sleeping next to the entrance door and the others are just waiting to see who drives up to the window. HOWEVER, the main problem was the POOR customer service from MANAGEMENT; the manager on site refused to provide her name and wasn't wearing her name tag. Then I tried calling from work to better explain the situation but there was no answer. This was not only frustrating but disappointing. Management is a reflection on how well a business is ran, and he/she is considered to be a role model to all the employees. If management has poor customer service, lacks empathy and has no comprehension then how can we even trust them doing their job right? How can we trust the employees with our food? The manager on site refused to provide her name and wasn't wearing a name tag but the receipt does say CLARISSA. In the end I doubt anything will get done but it's sad how people who deal with customers have this type of attitude and don't think about customer service THEY ONLY CARE...
Read moreWent for 2 munchie meals, was informed they had no tacos, (it was not posted anywhere) was offered extra fries to compensate, which isn’t really compensation, and the girl was very rude, and snappy, didn’t put the boxes in a bag, had to request that. Got home, opened the boxes, and there was not extra fries at all! And looked at receipt, on receipt it stated 10 items(4 tacos) and indeed there was no tacos or extra anything! This isn’t the first time I’ve come to this location and had a zero star experience! One time, I sat in the drive thru for over an hour and they didn’t give me everything I ordered! Ownership needs to rethink who they have working certain shifts because the night shift crew seems unable to do the job efficiently or with the bare minimum of decency! I’d love for the manager or someone from the upper management, would reach out to me wanting to know me…cuz there’s more! Tried calling the location multiple times to complain and nobody ever...
Read moreAlbeit this location frequented by the Riverside homeless population it needs better cleaning. I went here twice about two weeks apart and one urinal in one toilet been out of service whole time. Bathrooms smells like they haven't been serviced in a while with graffiti all over.
Both times floor around the drink fountain was really sticky as it seemed some drink spilled and was not mopped. I did alert the person taking the order one time, but nothing was done while we were there.
One time it felt like the air conditioning was not working in the lobby. Even though I alerted one of the employees and he talked to the manager nothing was done until we left some time later since it was unbearable. Right before we left I looked at the thermostat, which is located right next to the drink fountain, and it was showing 83 degrees.
Employees and service is excellent. Having said that maybe Drive through might be the way to go with this location.
