Mediocre ramen place. Ramen ordered: Tonkotsu ramen + bean sprout + thick noodles
Positives: + ; Notes: * ; Negatives: - .
Anime themed interior. Thick ramen noodles were al dente.
Non-contact menu via smartphone. Most ramens are $15.
Quality of food: Pork Chashu was bland, lack of flavor, although chared, there's no contrast in texture and felt like chewing on rubber band. Soup was not good. Probably made using instant soup base, tasted like instant ramen soup with a distinct flavor of an excessive amount of MSG. The topping portion was small. I need to ration mine so I could still have some with my last bite of noodles.
Management & training: I stood a solid 3 minutes just to be sited, and there were 2 servers and only 2 other tables of customers! One other customer couldn't get his change because the server couldn't open the cash register without his boss present. I ordered thick noodles (to replace the regular) but they made them on the side instead. There server asked me for clarification, after the bowl was made, but ultimately just served things as that because his boss said I was there waiting for a long time, which she's not wrong. And I paid the extra, which is fine.
Other: The overhang of the bar was too short to eat comfortably on. Had to bend over to reach everything because my knees can't go...
Read moreDo you get extra noodles when you grab some ramen?? You don't need to here!! Search no more. This is the place that will fill you up. If your a Naruto fan, you will love the wall art. !!!
Ramen: They give a great amount of noodles, and the broth is just filled with flavor 😋 👌 You get the choice on spice level as well, which is a plus ➕️ Request chili oil on the side if you want to spice it up some more to your taste but I didn't need to.
Egg Rolls : tasted fresh and with a great crispy crunch with every bite. You get a choice of veggie or pork. I went with pork. Definitely tasted the pork flavor in it. My favorite part was the house sauce dip that came with them.
Gyoza: Amazing . It's hard for me to like these at times because sometimes they feel soggy. But not these it's the perfect texture. They are placed atop of red cabbage and packed with flavor.
Chicken Karaage: Just as described in the menue, juicy marinated chicken. Crispy to the bite with the topped green onions. The spicy mayo sauce is delish.
Chashu Don Bowl: the amount you are given is worth it. It was alot. We went with chicken vs pork. The bowl will easily feed two.
Thai tea. : it was so rich in flavor. The best all it needed was some Boba .
For all this, our total cost was no more than $90 for...
Read moreMy husband loves this place. Or loved this place i should say. Wasnt allowed to bring outside food. ( i got curry from across the street. ) granted they have signs so once my husband was brought his ramen the worker let us know it was against the policy to bring outside food. So we said ok and took our drinks and food outside to eat. Just as we are going to start eating the worker comes back to tell us we cant take anything outside in the seating area. That we have to put everything in to go containers. That was the part that was frustrating. She saw us pick up our stuff go outside sit down, set up everything and then comes after the fact to tell us we have to go back inside and put everything in a to go cup. My husband comes here all the time and I felt so bad Because he’s trying to show me this cool spot that he loves. And This is the experience that we had, to add insult The worker told us that we needed to pay right away because we can’t just walk out but the thing is she saw us and she didn’t mention anything. She was right there when we started grabbing our things to go outside. We were very good customers through it all. We didnt cause a scene or pull the “let me talk tk your manager” bit either. The whole situation was very weird. i wont be coming...
