WaBa Grill — Restaurant in Riverside

This was my first time visiting WaBa so l decided to try the WaBa Plate. The plate consisted of tender, seasoned sliced chicken and steak on a bed of rice, with a side salad and some fruit. Plus some added avocado. Overall, the meal was quite tasty and a welcome change from my usual eating routine. But not really out of the mundane. Perhaps because it was near closing time when I arrived that the place seemed so lifeless and dull. The service could have been a bit better too. I also bought two bottles of Sobe and paid for them with my order but almost left without them. I was almost to the door before realizing that I'd forgotten something. Today April 4 2023, I ordered ahead and they ask me how long will it take for me to be there I told them in six minutes so what’s the point of ordering ahead if you will be the last one to get your order they always do this in this location all the lady’s that work there have the worst attitude ever they love to make fun of people when they have you waiting for a long time they will have their cellphones out they will be chewing gum that I could see them I was literally standing in front of the cashier and she walked away with out saying anything and went to the back to get some water to pour it in the pot like how rude worst place ever never coming back they should take classes too do better in customer service the rice is so hard the...

I truly hate doing bad review but tonight reminded me why I never go to this location. Every single time I go here the chicken taste old and never fresh. My vegetables are never cooked. I even requested my Cabbage to be cooked well done and AGAIN not done. I only went to this location because it's convenient but honestly its worth me traveling to the one on Mountain off 60 frwy because they NEVER disappoint. There food is always fresh. You go there and wait about 15 to 20 mins for fresh food but the one on Van Buren my food was ready in about 5 minutes. It would be nice if this location take some pointer from the Mountain location.
