Arrived the bar around 3:20 pm. The bar lady had the worst customer service ever. I was sitting at the bar for a least 7 minutes before I was ever asked what I wanted. I asked about the happy hour menu. I was never asked if I wanted water or chips and salsa , she totally forgot i was a customer like everyone else that was at the bar. Ms. Cynthia/ 459 check # 6649. To all my people if are ( Black ) do not go to this El Torito ) at the riverside Plaza drive. 3639. They only cater to Hispanics persons. When I arrived I already knew I was not going to tip. Service was horrible And ) Cynthia ) must be trained again on how to treat all Customers the same no matter the color. I was going there to have a full meal and two drinks. But I was never given a menu, I was totally ignored from the server Cynthia/ 459. The salsa was so 🔥 on fire my eyes was watering and my nose was running. I did have no tissue I had to get up and go to another table to get napkins for myself. Cynthia served me a drink full of ice and my alcohol drink was served in a smaller glass that was seen on the menu. When she saw that my drink was done still full of ice. She then asked if I wanted another drink. I then replied No Ma'am let me have my check please so I can get the he'll from that place. I felt out of place and uncomfortable, so again. My people ( Black) please do not go to this place for no reason. I was still hungry, when I left I settled for Wendy's and got got better server there and spent less money. So again to the management you must speak to your employees to treat all Customers the same if not they your business will fail all the time. Arrived @ 0352 on 05/ 29 / 2025. Thank you, ...
Read moreEverything was really good except for the poor customer service given to me by my server. He could use a little training and instruction as to what to do if a blind person walks in and sits down at a table. First of all I had no idea that he had given me anything to drink. He had, but me being blind, I do not know that there is a drink there unless you say, “your drink is to your left,” or hands me my drink. None of that was said, nor was any of that done. So, I had no clue that a drink was there. I found my drink off to the left which I drank. Secondly I had no idea that there was any chips and salsa. I have to be shown where this stuff is like what my previous waiter/server Victor did for me. He said, “your drink is off to your right, and your chips and salsa are right here in front of you,” and Victor showed me where the dish of chips is and where the dish of salsa is. Nothing like this was ever done for me today. People from Blindness Support Services Incorporated love when this is done, because we know where everything is. Thirdly, you can not expect a blind man to know where to sign. He just dropped off my card, the pen and the receipts. He did not show me at first where to sign. After I waved my hands in the air then he came over and I asked him which one do I sign?” He said the top one. Normally someone tells me to sign this copy, and puts their finger where I am to sign. Overall, I want Victor Everytime I. Come in there and sit down for lunch. The customer service that I got today was terrible. I definitely would never recommend this guy to people at blindness support services incorporated just down the street from your restaurant on magnolia avenue and Beatty drive...
Read moreBaha combo and macho combo I do not recommend. Sigh I was so disappointed in what they call tamale, or enchilada or even fish tacos 😭. The tamale was warm, my bacon wrapped shrimp pieces were warm like it been out for a while. This is the place where people who haven't had amazing Mexican food go. This is the taco bell of Mexican restaurants. The green sauce on the enchiladas and tamales was so lemony or tangy. I love green sauce but what they used was not it. And my shrimp enchilada was more like some shrimp placed in a tortilla topped with sauce. Enchiladas are supposed to be emerged in the sauce and the cheese should be mixed/ melted. I thought because of the nice atmosphere it was gonna be good! Nope. I would rather go to a hole in the wall fast food joint or even the taco man on the corner. They tried to recreate flavors or they forgot what authentic Mexican taste like. It's time to get someone's grandma back in there and show how it's done because she would be disappointed. Never had I eaten a tamale and said it doesn't taste like a tamale. We got the platter appetizer to, it was ok. The sweet dipping sauce was a wierd side...didn't really compliment any of the flavors on the plate. Didn't finish our plates really, just scrapped the food around to look like we ate to be nice. Not the cooks fault for the owner allowing that to be on the menu. Tipped the waiter and didn't have the courage to get any dessert. Gave it a try and don't plan on going back. You might find something you like but go in with low expectations when it comes to the food. I'm sure the alcoholic drinks help make the food...
