Uhh. Where to begin. First the two greeters were nice. One sat us next to a window in chairs and not a booth. No biggie until we felt the heat from the window. It’s hot this time of year. Then, as we’re looking at menus we see our table hasn’t been cleaned well. It’s sticky and crumbs on half of it. My mom just wiped them off with a menu. I asked if we could be moved, the waitress hesitated and said she’d have to ask. The other area (not near any windows but a table over) was not her area. Who cares? Just tell me you’ll see what you can do to find us a better seating place. Why make it sound like you’ll get in trouble? And if you will, you need better management. We were seated in a half booth half chair table. We ordered our food. I went to the bathroom and well, someone not only didn’t flush but felt compelled to also NOT rinse the sink after [probably] rinsing their mouth. My mom was served her fajitas. The tortillas in the foil fell on the floor. The server went to get more. My son got the three appetiser dish. Instead of the three dipping sauce options, they were all JUST ranch. I was hyping up the blue cheese and green sauce to be super yum with those veggie rolls. He said all three were ranch. One girl helping to serve couldn’t be bothered to even let us acknowledge by saying ‘thank you’ after setting our plates down like we were orphans in “Oliver”. My mom and son began eating and just as i think my son is reaching for a fry off my plate , he pulls out this hair. A long black hair literally mixed in with the fries. Few things make me want to gag, hair in food is one of them. Our waitress came over asking how our food was. I told her there was a hair in mine. She apologised and said they’d make a new plate. And uh asked if I wanted anything off the plate. really? Waiting for my food I noticed most waitresses had their hair in a pulled back over the neck pony tail. One girl had hers in braids. But most all had long black hair. A girl came out with my food. Placed the food in front of me and at the same time turning around to leave said “here’s your food”. Again leaving before I could say anything. I ordered ribs with corn on cob and fries. The first plate (hair plate) had all three foods. The corn cob on that plate had butter and seasonings. There was no corn cob on second plate. And when the waitress came by to check in I informed her I was missing my corn cob. It was brought to me a short time later. Barely warm yet dripping in butter. A section of kernels were beige. And of course no salt and pepper at our table, or at any table we looked around at. It really didn’t appear to be terribly busy when we got there. Certainly more people by the time we left. As it’s been awhile since I’ve been here, I think it’s going to be another while before returning. We ate our food. I mean, it was edible. But not the best. Our waitress was nice. She gave us 10%...
Read moreI gave it 2 stars only because the service was good and the food was not bad! However this is for all the good and bad reviews! I say everyone should boycott Chilis everywhere in America! I’ll start off by saying I’m not broke and I was not broke when we went to Chili’s I could have dropped $400 here without flinching but I pick and choose how I spend my money and the companies I give it to and which ones deserve it! First off they don’t list there alcohol prices! Funny when I asked what the prices were it made total sense and the Long Island I ordered was very small and it ran me $10, the waitress told me drinks were $9 to $12 😂 so basically they know that most who enjoy a few drinks will not notice the prices not being on the menu and will sit there ordering a few drinks until the bill comes and they realize they spent $40 to $50 on drinks alone! That’s just one person imagine a table full of friends a bill could end up being $200 plus dollars alone in drinks! That’s insanity! The food is wayyyyy over priced asking questions about the drinks after only having two we decided we are not going to let chilis take advantage of us considering the prices of food if we wanted to go have a $200 bill there are plenty of higher end restaurants we could have went to! But we didn’t we went to chilis thinking that economically this would be a better choice! Nope with all this said me and the wife said you know what let’s just get the triple dipper and some chips, then we got three deserts to go for the kids at home. Ok so a triple dipper, two very small long islands and three deserts ran me $90 😧 I couldn’t imagine getting a bill for more than $150 which would have been the case if we decided to get a meal which was our intentions, we usually go to Applebees and always get there appetizer a meal and two to three drinks each and our bill typically is around $70 to $80! I say everyone should boycott Chilis they are taking advantage of average regular income people they are definitely not high end and they do not deserve to make the amount of money they do, if you plan to spend over $100 go somewhere more high end at least it will be worth it! And you know there will be a chef that went to culinary school to cook unlike chills who will hire anyone to make your food, this might also explain why the place was dead! Stay away! Don’t give them your money not worth it! We deserve better as average hard working Americans! Applebees by far is a much much better choice! And no I don’t work for AppleBees 😂 it’s just funny to me because they are basically the same place just Applebees doesn’t cost as much as 🌶️ Goodbye chilis my butt will never sit on one of your...
Read moreI really hate to be the person with the seemingly overtly negative review, but our experience warrants it sadly...
We had a gift card to Chili's, and we chose to go on what I would call a moderately busy night. The wait itself wasn't bad, but it was odd seeing a bunch of people come in after us, get their names on the list, and somehow be called ahead of us. Yes, they had the same numbers in their party as us. Once we were finally seated, our waiter was really slow getting to us, and seemed annoyed that we were there. I promise that I'm not the person to usually say this, I try to be very understanding of waiters and the pressure they face, but it was pretty blatant that she didn't want us there.
From there, things got worse. We ordered our food, my wife got fajitas and I got the cajun chicken pasta. We again waited for a long time, watching other tables order and get their food before us. When it finally came, it was a ridiculous and dangerous sequence.
First off, they gave me the wrong plate, and on saying so, the waiter immediately said "oh, sorry, I'll have them make you what you ordered." It was on the table two minutes later, which in this case was worrisome. It tasted like it had been nuked in a microwave for 2 minutes too short, and the "alfredo" sauce was indistinguishable from "cheddar" velveeta. I don't know how they made it so fast, but it shouldn't have made it to the table as quickly as it did.
Secondly, the fajitas were a joke. The garnishments were served on a little plate in baby portions and the fajitas came out on a skillet. The waiter put the searing hot skillet directly in front of our 9 month old, and what do babies do when something is put in front of them? We were lucky to stop her from grabbing it before she burned her hands. We then moved the platter because the waiter disappeared again, incidentally leaving our drinks completely empty. The fajitas were not good, and we found weird traces of other unadvertised ingredients on the platter, including bacon rinds, weird vegetable bits, and pieces of aluminum foil! Yes, we found aluminum foil in our "skillet fajitas."
We didn't bother staying for dessert. The waiter was strangely quick bringing us our check, which we were thankfully able to pay using the little advertising tablet kiosk thing located at our table. (Seriously, it's that hard to have the waiter run a card?) We received no discount on our food after the order mix up, the "putting our baby in danger", and finding metal in our food.
I will never go here again. Maybe other locations are better, but I will never risk my family's safety eating...
