Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Riverview

Tubby's has been around for fifty-five-plus years, and their food is STILL delicious!!! Unlike so many other restaurants who end up changing their menus over time, shrinking their portions while increasing their prices, cutting corners just to save a buck by offering less-than-fresh ingredients, changing how they prepare their foods in the interest of quantity, NOT quality, as many items look like they've just been slopped together as they're being prepared in mass-quantities similar to being cranked out on an assembly line at General Motors but on their way to rot under the heat lamp as opposed to sit at the dealership, TUBBY'S food, especially their subs, still reigns supreme! The taste, the quality, the portion size, the prices, and the customer-service of other once-great, fast-food restaurants chains are unrecognizable Whish is indicative of employees/owners having no pride in their work OR in the finished product that they're offering their customers! Thank GOD that Tubby's still remains just as fresh, hot, and scrumptiously-tasty and fantabulously-flavorful TODAY as it was when I was a kid! I know that the Riverview location on Fort Street is definitely still spectacular, despite it having changed owners/managementas well as locations over the last fifty-five years! The guy that waited on me was friendly (even though I was literally a last-minute customer😬), fast, and made my food just the way I ordered it! If it ain't broken, DON'T fix it! worst service i've ever received in my entire life. i was cut off multiple times by the person at the speaker rudely & then yelled at. there is nowhere i've gone where anyone was so disrespectful. the person working the speaker on Wed Dec, 1st around 1pm said they weren't sure about all of the just baked cupcake flavors they had, but listed the ones that they knew about for sure. i couldn't hear some of the things they said, so i said that i wasn't sure about what they said because i couldn't hear them& then i started to say after stating that i didn't hear what they said "do you have-" & that is all i got out before i was cut off & they said "i already said what we have" rudely. then by the end of my order, they shouted "pull up" in a very rude tone with no total or manners, mind you by this point i'm still keeping my cool, but quite bothered that i was cut off several times while speaking & trying to ask questions. so when i pulled off, the passenger in my car saw them stick their head out the window laughing & throwing peace signs out the window. just very unprofessional,, first time coming here &...

Sticky floors, dirty tables, a bit of "junk"scattered around (vacuum/shovels/trash/storage totes/ fans), lights out, digital menus were out of service, broken door handles... Haven't been to this location in a while but it looks like it's been neglected and is in need of a little TLC. Most of this could be fixed up with very little $ and few hours of work. I guess I would expect a restraunt to be pretty clean early in the hours of operation, not so at may last visit. Food was... meh. The bread was great the rest of the sandwich was lacking. Literally had a super thin single layer of meat. The lettuce had no crunch and was pretty soggy. And the two tomato slices on my large sandwich were sliced paper thin. The prices are however pretty cheap to correspond with the skimpy meat portions. I used to enjoy an occasional Tubby's sub but I don't think...
