Don’t get fooled by the google reviews like we did. Many of these reviews were forced by staff onto the customers who had no choice but to give good rating when they finished the meal. I bet people who reviewed will realize it and give their honest stance one day. We were the victims of the good google reviews until we went there and found the truth. Unfortunately food & service were terrible. The Veggie Jalfrezi tasted like Walmart frozen veggies dumped in some masala mix. On top of this, the chef and the servers were on of our head pestering to give them 5 star rating. They forced every one of us to give 5 star rating at the table also. They would not even get the check for us unless we rated them good. Very unprofessional attitude that you can never expect in US. Please save yourself some peace of mind and avoid this place.
Edit - the response from the owner denies forcing all five of us to give good reviews but it is not true. Even the chef comes out and puts you in a tricky situation where you cannot express yourself truly as they act nice and force you to review the highest, they even look at your phone on what you are typing and how you are rating. One should never experience the pressure to rate and review. They were doing the same for other customers including Americans also who usually cannot fight back. This is not the...
Read moreTandoor Curry Hotspot truly lives up to its name, especially when it comes to their delectable Chicken Biryani and Lamb Curry. The Chicken Biryani is a fragrant masterpiece, perfectly cooked with tender, juicy chunks of chicken nestled in flavorful, saffron-infused Basmati rice. Each grain stands separate, soaked with the rich spices typical of an authentic Biryani, including cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon, which dance on the palate, offering a symphony of flavors.
The Lamb Curry is equally impressive. The lamb is slow-cooked to perfection, resulting in meat so tender it nearly falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. The curry sauce is robust and hearty, with a beautiful blend of spices that permeate the lamb, creating a dish that is both comforting and invigorating. The curry’s depth of flavor is enhanced with a touch of cream that adds a silky texture, making each bite better than the last.
Both dishes are served piping hot, accompanied by side dishes that complement the main flavors beautifully. Visiting Tandoor Curry Hotspot offers not just a meal but a delightful culinary experience, wrapped in warmth and the rich aromas of Indian cuisine. Whether you're a lover of all things spicy or new to Indian food, their Chicken Biryani and Lamb Curry are must-try dishes that will...
Read moreI ordered in delivery. I'd ordered a few months ago, and had a below average experience w/ taste. However, today I decided to give it another try. But this experience really drove me to write this.
Chhole kulcha - 3/5 was tasty, but the spice was not cooked enough, and the kulcha had some "chaat masala" sort of spice sprinkled within it, making it taste odd.
Egg biryani - 2/5 Was a pathetic excuse for biryani. Enough quantity though, but most of it went to the bin. The flavors for a biryani were completely off and there was plenty of usage of food coloring. It was the oddest flavor I've had, for a biryani. I think you'll be better off staying away from biryani, if you are hoping to not be disappointed.
Lassi - 0/5 was thinner than buttermilk and flavor was watered down. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that I was drinking sugared water. This is definitely a important and low-cost place for improvement. If you cannot make a decent lassi @ $5, don't put it on the menu guys!!
Rasmalai - 3/5- is the "Nanak" rasmalai you can find in any store. At $7 I'm not sure what you could expect - though so I'm not complaining. Just FYI. I'd not had a good experience with the kheer last...
