Initially, I was discouraged from going to this location by all the bad reviews. Thus, I ended up going to the Wheeling store located on Weiland and Lake Cook Rd. However, because their wifi was slow (per the store employee, Carlos), he told me to go to the Buffalo Grove location where I could be assisted.
And I was glad that I did. As soon as I walked into the Buffalo Grove store, I was greeted. If I remember correctly, it was almost 7:00PM, and there were 3 groups of customers being helped and 1 customer in queue. And there were 3 employees. I only had to wait five minutes before being helped by Mikee. She gave me an option of transferring data from my old phone to my new phone via wifi or wire. (Why didn't Carlos at the Wheeling store offer the wire transfer option and just said their wifi wasn't working??)
By the time that the data transfer was done, Mikee had already left, but there were two other employees including the manager who were at the store (to whom I could approach if there was anything wrong with the transfer). Come to my surprise that the phone shipped early and yet that wasn't the problem necessarily it was the face that it wasn't 69.99 charged early it was 112.45 charged early. This money was coming directly out of my checking account so what I'd like to know is who would have been responsible had something bounced. On my documentation it shows shipping on the 17th. I was given UPS tracking numbers but it still hasn't made it to the UPS facility so why are they taking my money early as well. I call the manager of this Lincolnshire location and all he could say was "all I can say is I'm sorry this happened to you". I get very anxious sitting by myself for a while in public places, but she talked to me like I was a normal human being instead of someone that was trying to just get me to buy everything possible. It was so refreshing. I even got to yap without feeling like she was annoyed with me because she was engaged in the conversation while simultaneously helping me with everything. I appreciated it so much because getting a phone is kind of a big purchase and it can be stressful for a lot of people but it was so easy because she explained everything so well without making me feel dumb for the questions I asked. Wish everyone was like this.
