Slowwwww service, but the food was hot. We waited almost ten minutes for two meals in the drive thru.
My wife does not like Dasani water and they charged us the full price of a large soda to give her a cup of tap water. I understand the workings of a restaurant, but exceptions for customer service can always be made.
Response from the owner about the slow service completely ignored the water complaint. There ya go! Their level of customer service, in a nutshell.
My wife left her cup at the doctor's office and her medication alarm went off as soon as we got in the drive thru line. She needed water to take meds in the car, THEN, RIGHT THEN, before we got home. She cannot have sugar, and she is allergic to Aspartame. Water was her only option, and she cannot have Dasani due to the Potassium Chloride. That is why she does not like it, because it can affect her medications and make her heart issues worse! Thank you for having me share that!!!! I am glad we did not go with our plan to drive across the street to CVS and buy her a bottled water after a quick wait in the drive thru, because there was no quick wait! Your response has done nothing more than angered me, and I will be sharing this with my church family, my friends, family, and everyone else that will listen. We just bought multiple websites and will have those up by...
Read moreThis place is great and with a few tweaks could be amazing.
First, hot food should not be placed directly on styrofoam as it has forever chemicals that mess with hormones and repeat exposure over time builds up in your body harming people's health. If you continue using styrofoam, please put down some appropriate paper. However, I suggest getting healthy containers for customers and the environment.
Second, the chicken needs to be crispier and it would outshine the others. It was a little oil logged as well. Plus to outshine others use an oil that is healthy for your customers...not sure what is used, but would love to know what type of oil is used.
Third, fill up ice tea cups completely with ice unless someone says easy ice. Most of my ice was melted and my tea was warm, so I did not enjoy my ice tea as much as I would if it was true ice cold tea...
The fries, sauce, toast and everything was really yummy and worth checking out once...I would be a repeat customer if it wasn't for the unhealthy containers as the fries were addicting. Do some rebranding and stand out with those little suggestions and people will find you and love you. I would rather see these on every corner over that canine chicken place. Why? Because the sauce and fries are better here at Layne's...
Read moreI've been to College Station many times, and Layne's Chicken Fingers is a place I ALWAYS visit when I'm there. I love seeing Layne's in DFW because they're growing, and it's something to be happy about. Though I have love for Layne's, I was disappointed in the order I received from Layne's Chicken Fingers.
I wanted my significant other's family to try Layne's for the first time, so we decided to order individual boxes. We ordered 1x 5 Fingered Original, 1x 4 Finger Meal, and 2x 3 Finger Meal.
Let's start with the mistake that made me upset. Instead of receiving what we ordered, we received 4x 3 Finger Meal -- that's a whopping 3 chicken fingers that were missing from our boxes, when each individual chicken finger costs around $1.25.
Moving onto the food... the food wasn't hot. We live about 5 minutes away from Layne's so it wasn't a long time between Layne's and when we began eating. The fries were a bit dry, and our chicken tenders were small in comparison to what we usually would receive at the Layne's in College Station.
As much as I love Layne's, I might not come to this location again. It was a complete disappointment, and frankly, a rip-off due to the amount of chicken...
