Amazing Cheesesteaks, generous portions, fresh ingredients, and friendly service. My girlfriend and I pulled up on Friday night around 6:35 and were pleasantly told we needed to call our order in. We checked the menu online through photos on Google and easily found what wanted. The original and chicken cheese steak both exceeded expectations, as did everything else. The handcut fries were crispy, the meat portions generous and the good grub sub was out of this with so much pastrami you couldn't see the bread. Highly recommend getting a cheesesteak from here the next time you are craving ooey, gooey, cheesy, chopped steak with peppers onions and mushrooms you know who to call. Even the ham and cheese we got for our son was exceedingly delicious.

If you want a True Philly this is the spot hands down!! You will not be disappointed, small local spot that’s a hidden gem, They stay busy! It’s a go to for a quick lunch or an amazing dinner, so if you call an no response try again as mentioned this spot stays bustling busy, Or you just stop in an order. This is my favorite spot in the ā€œNokeā€ Roanoke. People leaving reviews about the appearance has me šŸ’€ you are eating the food not the decor. The cheese cake is very good most all of the menu is great. But the Philly will make you wanna slap who ever told you about it for not telling you sooner, its something you wish you could have every day. Price is on point for what you order and the quality of what you are getting. This isn’t jimmy John’s or Elmo’s folks. The Philly is in a class of its own. Thanks for the best...

This place is a hidden gem. The cheese steak is amazing!! Seriously, other places I've had cheese steak at don't even compare. The fried mushrooms are perfection (i would go here just for those), and the onion rings are also really good.

My only complaint is the price (thus 4 stars). They are very expensive! When we ordered, we were going off the menus we could find online. Those menus must be old because the price listed was a lot lower than the actual food cost. We ordered 3 - 12 inch cheese steaks, 2 fried mushrooms, 1 onion ring, and 1 - 20oz coke. I was expecting around $60, but to my dismay, when i picked it up, our total was $82. But ultimately, the foods taste is worth the cost, especially if you're craving a good...

Well it was quiet, with some folks waiting for their orders and nobody waiting behind me. I was asked if I wanted jalapeƱo, and the menu really didn’t list what the options were for toppings/additions. I did get it with banana pepper, mushrooms, onion(although it was hard to tell they were there visibly and flavor wise, and the same holds true for other toppings except cheese.) and the pepper and scant few canned shrooms added an extra $1 to the 6ā€ sandwich. Which was fine but not great. It’s been a while since I’d had my true Philly Cheesesteak experience at its birthplace. This experience was ok, and solidified my opinion that I prefer the Chicago Italian Beef sandwich, definitely more flavorful.

My wife stopped here after hearing good things about their Philly Cheese steak subs. The atmosphere looks pieces together and unfinished, dirty in some places, and cluttered in others. The service is on par with the atmosphere. The lady who took our orders was unfriendly and seemed uninterested in customers. The food is prepared in front of you. The sub was okay. We felt the bread was soggy, but the cheese steak itself was good and piping hot. My honest opinion is that it was just okay and falls in line with the many other phillys I've had.

I caught this place out of the corner of my eye. I assumed it was a dive with excellent food and they didn't disappoint! Their menu has a great selection but I already knew I was going for the Philly. Portions were great, everything was fresh, not overcooked and I always like to see hand cut fries. I had mine with a side of their homemade ranch which was of course the bomb. What stuck out to me most was the staff. It was just two guys working with what they had to give everyone the best service possible. You guys rock! 🤘
