This will be a lengthy recount... We've frequented this place well over a hundred times, but tonight's experience has sealed the deal for me, my group, and my personal business. We'll never set foot here again. It all began when we arrived at the bar and requested a table for ten. Understandably, there was a wait given the size of our party. Some of us waited at the bar, while others took seats at a five-person table, and two remained standing. Suddenly, a supposed manager approached, declaring that our arrangement was unacceptable. I apologized and directed the two standing gentlemen to take their seats. Frustrated, I requested the bill, intending to take my business elsewhere. However, the manager urged us to wait and see what could be done. Despite knowing we were waiting, they seated others who had just arrived—a party of seven—despite four open tables nearby. The situation worsened when a top table with booth seating for six opened up, and the seat for four below remained empty for 20 minutes. When I questioned why we weren't being seated together, the person seating tables promised to check with the manager. Upon his return, he claimed they were just about to seat us—a blatant lie. We finally sat, rearranged the tables for a closer arrangement, and placed orders for pepperoni rolls, salads, and potato skins. Soon after, three members of our party needed to leave, so we requested the bill and split it evenly among four credit cards. The discrepancies were minor, but we didn't mind. We started a new tab for drinks, only to be abruptly cut off despite having just one drink each. Three among us hadn't even touched their drinks. This establishment is a farce, plagued by poor management and unprofessional service, with the exception of one exceptional server in training tonight. But that's the only positive thing I can say...
Read moreWe have been coming to this restaraunt since it was The Main Hotel in Carnegie. A group of us come in every Friday (most in our group, for fish). It has been one of our favorite restaraunts. I needed to have part of my stomach removed therefore, medically, I can only eat 1 cup of food at a meal. I can't eat bread, fried food, etc. I have always been able to special order food the way I can eat it (not much on the menu here that isn't fried or has bread on it). Today I was told they would no longer accomodate my request. I asked for a side salad and a grilled chicken breast. The manager and waitress inferred I was trying to pull something sneaky by getting a salad cheaper, and said I had to order the big salad. I was told to order a main entree to get the side salad or to order the large salad and take home the leftovers. (I don't like left overs). I ended up ordering the larger salad and taking most home (it will have slimy cheese on it by tomorrow). I felt belittled and insulted and will not be going back. I can go to any restaraunt in the area and get food the way I want it. If you want good food, the way you like it go to Bronze Hood, Rockefellers, or Julianos, your business will be welcome without judgement or having to explain why you want food in a...
Read moreI would have loved to rate this one Higher considering the fact that had a 9.5 but our experience was anything but. The goods were management and everybody were extremely friendly, quiet location, wife I was fast. The bads, the kickback rewards for dinner we're awful it's a nice and thank you for the freebies but don't plan on anyting tasteful, the dining area was extremely packed and there was nowhere for us to eat. The line for the food took 20 minutes to get through, the breakfast in the morning was okay but that's just it I personally think Holiday Inn breakfast had more better choices including turkey sausage there was no protein available at night or in the morning for my family considering we do not eat pork. Someone pooped in the pool yes I said pooped so we couldn't use it. The Uglies, our room literally smell of mold, it took someone at least an hour to come and see us and when they did it did wasn't management "unacceptable" they switched or room from a larger room to a regular room, a downgrade. But like I said when I spoke to them in the morning again they...
