Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Robinson Township

Waited over 30 minutes to walk out empty handed. This was my first time going here so I was excited to try it. There was a line which was to be expected so my boyfriend and I stood patiently waiting. We finally made it to where you order and I ordered a build your own and he got a simple pie. We waited some more. A worker comes out from the back and tells the other employees to only do the only orders. We’re a bit confused but we continue waiting. Finally someone starts my pizza. That gets headed over to the oven. We continue waiting some more for my boyfriend’s pizza. They skip him and start working on the other people’s orders in line behind us. Confused and waiting again he asks about the second half of our order. The worker says “we’re busy it’s probably still back there” gesturing to the computer. At that point it had been over 30 minutes we had been standing there so we left. It was absolutely ridiculous the incompetence these workers had. I understand that they’re busy, that’s not a problem at all, but what is a problem is when you’re prioritizing online orders over the customers standing there and then not completing 50% of the order. The whole experience was so disorganized and chaotic, the workers were just chatting away with eachother to the point you barely could get out what you wanted, none of them acted like they wanted to be there. Pizza tasted great. Value was terrible.

I ordered a vegan GF crust with pesto sauce and pesto drizzle. No cheese. No meat. Had veggies only: olives, tomato, basil, red onion, banana peppers, spinach, broccoli.

Came to $18.75 for an 11” veggie pizza and we were totally ok with that. However when it arrived, it was sparse with veggies. Each one was peppered on and you could see most of the crust under the veggies. I actually had to grab a few veggies from my fridge to add to the pizza.

After fees and tip for delivery, which I know is door dash and not blaze, we ended up spending over $20 a pie (we ordered three total pizzas). For that amount of coin for a small pizza, that had zero high price items like cheese or meat, there should have been ample veggies. You shouldn’t be able to see most of the crust and have to add veggies to a pie that cost that much.

Tasted great but highly disappointed in the value

Update: 3/2/24. We ordered again out of convenience. I had the pesto “drizzle” and the entire thing was soaked in oil. Literally dripping from the pizza. Soaked through the paper and a soaked cardboard box. We picked up the order before the pickup time and have a short ten min drive home so it wasn’t sitting for long at all either. It was difficult and unpleasant to eat. My husbands was sparse on ingredients this time and we both had to hunt to identify the chorizo. I am a frequent Blaze Pizza customer, as well as my boyfriend. We placed an order through DoorDash at 1:38pm today (04/24/25). The whole order was for 1 order of cinnamon bread, 1 bottle of Diet Coke, 1 order of pesto cheesy bread with 2 red sauces, 1 side of buttermilk ranch, 1 BYO 11” pizza: classic dough, spicy red, shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, green peppers, mushrooms, red onions, roasted garlic, ranch drizzle, cook well done, and 1 BYO 11” pizza: classic dough, red sauce, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, red onions, roasted garlic, spinach, sea salt, oregano, olive oil, balsamic glaze, cook well done. Our entire order was WRONG, which makes me extremely upset as I love Blaze Pizza and was very excited to receive my order. We did not receive our side of buttermilk ranch, bottle of Diet Coke, and 2 red sauces. Our pesto cheesy bread was UNCUT and after cutting it we had to eat it with no sauce since we never received it. On one pizza it was missing roasted garlic and ranch drizzle. On the other pizza it was missing basil, red onions, sea salt, oregano, olive oil, and balsamic glaze. DoorDash only refunded $11 on a $57 order for all these missing ingredients. I am extremely disappointed and unhappy with my order today and most likely will not be back for a little while due to this!
