I had a bad experience with the food and service at the location in Waterford so I decided to try my luck at this one. Two thumbs to the cooks back there that night. The food was much better! Fresh! Hot! Flavorful!! Served in the time frame that it was supposed to be, however... Our server was not on top of her game. I used to be a server so I am a little hard on the servers when I can tell they do not put forth effort with people who ..... let's say... "look like they don't tip" if you get my drift. We ordered an appetizer and didn't see our server to order our food until we were almost done with it. When she showed up her excuse was: "I was still back there waiting on your app and I didn't know anyone had brought it out to you." Not a big deal, because that is what the team is supposed to do. They're supposed to have your back and make sure the guests get their order fresh out the window. We ordered our main dishes which came out promptly due to her team doing their job. Again, we are still looking for her to refill our drink and for more sauce. She did not check up on us (BTW...from what I remember, order of service is every 2 minutes. From when you sit down, to ordering drinks, to apps, to main dishes to checking on the customer and all the way to dessert...everything is at a 2 minute interval) and we had to send a co-worker to let her know to come and check on us. We watched her attend to other tables (especially a 6 person party that I guess got her excited and she forgot about her other tables) and when she did come to us she leaned on the table and said, "Yes, you guys were asking for me?" UMMM DUH!!!!! We would like our check, a refill on our drink, some lids for our sauce and a box and bag for our to go food. Wdym were we asking for you? Yes, crazy lady you're our server and you forgot about us! If it were not for the other servers that were on top of their job our food would've been sitting there cold. We literally had to LOOK for her. Now the server's name on the receipt says, "Soapy" but I remember her name tag starting with a J. Dark haired, young girl with glasses. Our bill was $40 ($24.99 after our rewards) and I tipped her $6.01. Again, I tipped only 15% because I don't go lower than that out of respect for the hustle, however, you're not getting my generosity of 22% when you clearly are not focusing. Read moreWould give it no stars if I could. Got there at 1130pm, my party of 5's food did not get there until 1:20 AND it was cold. So an hour and 50 minutes, it was national wing day so it was busy. But you would think an establishment would accommodate for a busy day. My friends and I were talking within our table about it taking so long and a server was cleaning a table behind us and eavesdropping. He went to the manager on duty at the time (7/29/16) and said that we were harassing the servers. Which is not true, we were very kind and understanding to our server and that it was not her fault the food was taking long. We had gone to the manager twice during the hour and 50 minutes about the unnecessarily long wait for a couple of orders of wings. He stated he had "two fryers down", then later told us that he had all the people he needed working when we mentioned why they wouldn't have more people working on a day they knew would be busy. When he came to our table with the bill's the FIRST thing he said was "Are you harassing my server", extremely rude and inappropriate by the manager. As caught off guard as we all were, being accused of harassment when we were expressing how we felt TO EACH OTHER, not being mean to ANY OF THE WORKERS. We were confused and asked him to elaborate, and he stated multiple servers felt harassed by my table. And then the manager continued to be rude and argue with us. It was not a gourmet meal, we all had wings. No difficult orders at all. Almost 2 hours for wings, I think it's okay to be upset about that, doesn't matter if it's national wing day. An establishment such as BWW should be able to accommodate, and it was late so the crowd began dying down by the time we got there. The customer should always be right and that was not the case here. Apparently it was our fault that we were upset for waiting almost two hours for wings. The manager kept saying our meals were "comped" as if he was doing us a favor. We weren't looking for a free meal, but a meal we can enjoy without waiting almost 2 hours for and being accused of harassing the staff afterwards. We came from a long day of working at the hospital across the street and just wanted a meal once we left. Shame on them. We were all extremely disgusted by the unprofessionalism displayed here and would rather drive miles to a different BWW than right...
Read moreOur first three experiences were amazing, our servers were Eugene, Ava, and Sarah. They went above and beyond our expectations and made sure we were all set. But Unfortunately our last experience wasn’t so great. Our server was Gio. Me and my daughter came and sat by the bar side. The minute we sat down we waited 30 minutes and had to ask another server to come take us, he had to personally tell our server we were waiting. Once he came to us he seemed annoyed we were here and had a very blunt attitude, he was talking to us like he doesn’t care. We ordered what we wanted but when my daughter was about to ask for more napkins he immediately walked away and we had to ask another server for napkins. Once he came around we asked for more refills, he took our cups and never gave us our refills until we had to ask another server again. We waited about 45 minutes for our food to arrive, it was dry and hard and the sauce was barely on my boneless wings! We asked him to take it back to the kitchen to be remade and he rolled his eyes while he walked away. We waited another 15 minutes for 10 boneless to be remade and another server was taking it back to us.. once we were finished we waited patiently for him to give us our check, we watched him stand at the bar by the patio talking to the other servers for 5 minutes straight and he was taking other tables orders while we waited! We waited a minimum of 15 minutes for our server to come give us our bill. Once he came back he said “Heres your bill have a good day” and immediately walked away from us again like we were invisible! He never apologized for anything or let alone acknowledged us.. he was only there to take our orders and to give us our bill, never checked up on us or gave us any refills. I understand you get busy with tables and the accidents and bad food isn't the servers fault, but at-least acknowledge your customers no matter how bad it is a little kindness...
