Breadless — Restaurant in Rochester Hills

This was our first time visiting "Breadless" (I love that concept, by the way). I ordered our food online. It was an easy process. When I got to the restaurant, the staff was friendly and greeted me when I walked in. The food was hot, ready, and waiting on the online shelf when I got there. The bag was sealed, and when I opened it, all of my items (including my side of sauce) were there.

The collard green wrap for the sandwiches are an acquired taste. My wife and 11 yr old son ordered the jerk chicken sandwich and the pastrami sandwich (both have collard wrap). Although they enjoyed the fixins inside the wrap, they didn't care for the collard green wrap (I tasted it and agreed). The collard green was pretty tough, and we weren't fans of the taste. My sandwich, on the other hand, was good. I had the Avocado Turkey sandwich (which had a turnip green wrap).

My wife and son loved the black bean soup (I agree), and they tasted and loved the beans and rice cup (with jerk chicken and balsamic mushrooms added) that I ordered.

Overall, it was a pleasant first-time experience. Outside of the collard green wrap (they'll just have to get a different one next time 😉), everything was good. For a great, healthy, tasty meal, this is a really good...

Everything served at Breadless is gluten free! Also, tons of low carb options with their wraps, salads and bowls. You can also customise and create your own breadless sandwiches. I tried their Jerk Chicken and Mango Wrap which was so delicious! The habenero mango salsa was fire, and this ended up being my husband's favourite. He loves the jerk chicken, it is seasoned beautifully in house so try it out! Also tried a couple of new dishes - braised beef and goat cheese, Asian satay salad with grilled chicken. I love peanut sauce so the Asian satay salad hits for me, and the braised beef is also good! They are generous with the portion, the greens are all fresh and most of their ingredients and sauces are made in house. They also have student discounts - 10% off any day, or get a free Agua Fesca between 2-5pm everyday, no purchase needed! Very bright and clean inside with power outlets at every table so a great place to hang out with a laptop! Will definitely be back to try more of their...

My girlfriend and I bought the BLT and Detroit Mushroom Club Salad wraps. I was impressed with how the staff paid close attention to and accommodated for each customization that my girlfriend added to her wrap via the electronic kiosk. This is very important to us as she has a dairy allergy, and other restaurants will often include dairy ingredients in her meals despite us requesting for them to be taken off and notifying them of the allergy. I particularly enjoyed the Pomegranate Agua Fresca drink, and my girlfriend loved her vegan oatmeal-raisin cookie.
