My husband and I decided to grab a quick bite to eat and to our surprise we saw that this place was open for dine-in so we went in. I've been to many Coney Islands in my lifetime never have I waited so long and TBH I've waited half the time at a steakhouse LOL! We walked in it was close to 5 we were seated immediately. After sitting for 15 minutes finally a waitress noticed my nodding for her to come over and she gave us menus. At this time she asked what we wanted to drink and left to get our drinks. After reviewing the menu for not even 3 minutes our waitress was back asking if we were ready to order of course we weren't!! After we stopped looking at the menu another 20 minutes went by we had already decided a few minutes after she walked away but I couldn't seem to get her attention away from her phone and the fact that she was sitting down in a booth eating completely ignoring us. After I managed to pull her away from her other priorities my husband and I ordered food reluctantly but we were really hungry. Might I add two other couples came in after us and finished eating before us by this time I was pretty set up almost 45 minutes have gone by still waiting for our food which had been ordered 20 minutes ago at this point. So let's see almost an hour later no food no service other than a glass of water and being seated I will never go here again I even called the manager to complain he didn't seem to care...
Read moreDuring our visit to this Coney Island, we ordered quite a bit of food. One of the items was onion rings, which cost $3.00. When the order came to our table, there were literally 7-8 small onion rings on the small bowl, for $3.00! We advised the waitress, only expecting to get a few more onion rings. She talked to the supervisor LIZA, who came over to tell us that they weigh the onion rings and basically that’s it. We were shocked. She didn’t even offer an apology or a smile. She stated the owner is one of the cooks and they can’t do anything and that she gets the same amount when she orders. We Love Coney Island (our favorite is Berkeley Coney Island, great food & AWESOME customer service) but we have never experienced a Coney Island like this Kerbys that didn’t put they’re customers first. This incident may seem small to some, but when we’re spending $30 (for 2 people) for Coney Island food, we expect to at least get our moneys worth. Our waitress Carrie was really nice, however the behavior and lack of customer service skills from LIZA has caused them to lose customers. We...
Read moreI ordered a Western omelette. The eggs were rubbery literally floppy and bouncing back and forth as I played with it. The vegetables weren't cooked SOOOOOO. BAAADDD. When I complained they got angry and stormed off. Then offered to make me a new one. I said he won't cook it differently. Waited for the manager who insultingly only gave me a free coffee. Less than half hour later I was on the toilet. I called them again actually ask for a refund of more than free coffee because I was already feeling sick. They sucked but I didn't think it would make me sick. He continues to offer me a new omelette, I say no this one already made me sick .. but wouldn't shut up ..hung up on me ....I called again... about 3 times. When I told them I may need to come into their store to talk about it some more they hung up again, I called again, as my stomach is hating me, said I will come in later, possibly warn your customers. And she said the police would be there waiting for me... Her name was Sally...mind you I never said when I was coming...lol wow don't do it greedy and lazy and...
