Thai Inn — Restaurant in Rochester Hills

So we were on Friday night. We arrived here around half past 6. And there was no one to greet us, so we choose to seat by ourselves. Then after almost 15 mins the lady came to us to have the order. And then we start counting every min. At 7:18 pm we got our dinner (finally). Food was good. Tasty, good amount of good. Btw both of us had drunken noodles. And I order for Thai cold coffee too. But didn't get it. I had to remind the lady about the coffee. She replied I'm so busy I didn't get the time to make the coffee. It's true that restaurant was busy. But they should have back for weekend night. Anyway so after another 10 mins I had my coffee. By that time I was done with my food. And that coffee wasn't really thai iced coffee. My wife ordered Pad Thai carry out I was supposed pickup after visiting Home Depot. She ordered when I was walking into the big box store. By the time I was out (approx 30 min), my wife received 5 phone calls to pick up the food. One explaining I am on my way wasn't enough. She received 4 more calls she didnt take as she was painting our bedroom. I arrived and picked up the food. I receive a complain why we dont pickup our phone... The place was empty and smelled weird. I picked up the food and returned to our house we currently remodel. To my surprise there was no plastic utensils of any type included. We had to improvise... I knew what I was getting myself into when I decided to go into this place. However I had to see it for myself. Place itself is ok, standard table setting with everything you need (nothing fancy) to chow down on some food. If you are looking for friendly service this may not be the place for you. The waitress or maybe the owner was rushing and not necessarily rude but a bit aggressive when taking my order. All and all the food is really where my low rating is coming from. I ordered Red Curry chicken or Gang Gai and i swear i can taste dish soap in it. Chicken felt cheap as if canned chicken was used. The curry itself lacked flavor. Rice looked and tasted old.
