We were at Sargents and they were just closing, about 6pm. We were both hungry and this was close. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. It came quickly, service was good. It was a bit too loud for my liking and they only had Pepsi products which left me with water to drink. I was the driver, so I couldn’t have a cocktail. I’m a bit surprised they don’t have at least diet Dr Pepper or a Diet Coke. Would have been nice to get dessert, but they none. They do offer popcorn we had sone of it while we waited for our food (short wait), they are very fast. Nice menu selection. I think most everyone would find a few dishes they want to try. The tater tots were a little over cooked, maybe the oil was too hot. I’m not sure, but all else was delicious for both our meals. We even ordered 2 meals to go for the kids at home. They have a large variety of area with seating. High top, regular tables and there is even a small outdoor space in nice weather. The menu filthy, flies outrageous, both new items rib eye sandwich piled high disgusting and not a pile of meet, bacon turkey avocado served with bad Lettus and cranberry sauce not served on the side but placed in the sandwich and disgusting. The waitress offered a refund on one of the sandwhichs but then charged 5.99 for the salad that came with the sandwich for .50 CENTS and that was ordered buy the cheep owner. We left more than half the food on the plates and never complained. This is probably a good place to drink and get drunk before ordering food but Waite until you are one eyeing that way you know you are ready to eat anything I also did not complain about the owner overcharging for the dinner salad. As far as the food roosters is really good. But the restaurant needs major updating in the women's bathroom. The stall door is gone. The owner needs to take initiative and fix their bathrooms. Their paper tall holders and just in general. Update the restaurant. Do it a little bit at a time, and that would be great. This is a great place and does get a lot of business. The owner needs to spend the money and update the restaurant in the women's bathroom. They have part of the floor under the sink that looks like it's growing mold. There is no way they're regular cleaner. Can you get rid of mold issues?
