If you are new to cross country skiing and want to get started, come here. I just bought some incredible skiing boots from this wonderful store and had a great experience! If I didn't already have skis, I would have bought them here as well. The staff are willing to help you and are excited for you to try something new.

Special shout out to Robb! He was AWESOME and incredibly knowledgeable. I have very wide and sensitive feet so I knew finding a good boot was going to be challenging. Robb listened to me and my picky feet and found just the perfect kind (Fischer). He gave me helpful pointers and tidbits to get started on skiing as well. I can't thank him enough. Ask for him specifically and he will get you started right, with a friendly smile, too.

Tyrol made it so easy to buy a new jacket! I went there around 6:10 on a Friday after work with $800 cash in my pocket. I was planning on buying a new North Face Coat. When I got there, the owner/manager was at the door and he said "We are closed" and shut the door in my face. I thank him for this because I went to one of their competitors and not only did I get a new coat, they gave me 30% off after hearing my story. Now I'm all about freedom to run your business how you want, but with Dicks Sporting Goods, Gander Mountain, and the new massive SHEEL's store coming in a month, you think a local store would make it easier to shop there... Anyway, Again, it was the most pleasurable experience- Try to shop local, get turned away, and go to the big box for a better deal. So...

Tried out for the first time two weeks ago. It seemed like they had quality selection and it's nice to support a small business. We understood we would spend more this way. We purchased a few things including snow pants for our daughter that were supposedly durable. Within two weeks the legs were worn out at the bottom. I tried to take them back to see what can be done. I was met with an employee who didn't offer much for a solution, and when pressed on the one solution he offered he backed off on being able to do that. They did not earn any repeat business from...
