It's a very nice sushi restaurant. AYCE table service. High quality sushi made fresh to order. The bar is quite unique too. Hot sake is very nice, about 5 shots in the small jar (1 person) , 10 shots in the large cup (sharing) , this fine sake is smoother than most vodka, drink carefully. Tasty cocktails are strong, and the wait staff is friendly. Arrive early or later for dinner service. This place has a bit of a wait at 6:30-7 with good reason. Lunch menu does not have Chef rolls or sashimi, and is the best AYCE choice for vegetarian or vegan patrons. They do have a .50 penalty charge for food waste, don't be a pig and order more than is sensible to eat, but there is a lag between the point when you finish a plate and the time when you reorder and it gets prepared, so consider that each round may take a while or order 3-4 items to begin with. Rolls are big, sashimi is smaller portions yet the focus if you are going for dinner. Appetizers are good too . Unfortunately not all sushi here is sustainable. Bluefin Tuna(Maguro), Eel, Wild Atlantic Salmon, sea bass, are all endangered species. Some are imported from great distances because it would be illegal to fish them in the US. Would like to see some edits to the menu eliminating blue fin tuna and including carrots in the vegetable sushi...

We got it to go because to sit down was packed (on a friday night so it should be) but the food was great. They participate in fundraisers with the high schools which makes it really nice (you just have to set it up on a day in advance when you go on the say say here for the group your with and they will give some portion of the cost to the group) They made us our food very qickly, which was highly convenient. I got the tuna roll and the spicy crab salad. I kind of expected the spicy crab salad to be more spicy but it still tasted amazing. Most of the entrees are pretty expensive but if you want to eat here and are on a budget go for 2 of the less expensive "a la cart" (like a sushi roll and a salad). It fills me up even when I am fairly hungry. The staff are very respectful and helpful. The food here was excellent, no complaints at all about the kitchen. Unfortunately, the experience was pulled down drastically by our server. We came out for my wife’s birthday, and we only saw our server about four times the entire night, including when she first asked for our drink order. I actually had to flag her down (which I never do) just to place our food order.

My wife’s drink was refilled once, and my water sat empty for most of the meal. After finishing, we waited nearly 30 minutes from the time our plates were cleared to finally get our bill. It’s a shame, because the food really was great, we just got stuck with the wrong server. Another server nearby seemed to be taking great care of their tables while ours spent time folding silverware and avoiding her section.
