Tried to do something nice and take my son and mother in law out for a spring break treat. After we had ordered and received our ice cream I tried to pay with a fifty dollar bill on a almost 20 dollar charge. I was told they do not take U.S. CURRENCY of that size. I politely asked how they would like me to pay then since I hadn't been told before ordering and had nothing smaller in my wallet that would cover the bill. If you are not going to accept cash of all denominations it should be posted on your door in a sign that you can't miss. Your one employee wanted me to put it on a credit card. Why should I have to put something on a card and add another step to pay for a scoop of ice cream, and why does your store want to pay the transaction fees for a credit card. If you don't want to take bill's larger than a 20 then don't charge 6 dollars for a cup...
Read moreLets start off that my wife and I had ordered ice cream online like always, but at the South location. We were charged the amount for said icecream and went to pick it up, except the south location was completely closed. So long story short we didn't get our ice cream. Paige the store manager at the location was awesome and went far above and beyond what she had to to help us, including but limited not to fulfilling our order. Mind you she didnt have to do this because both stores are their own store, but she and her staff were super nice and beyond helpful. We will be going back to the north location simply because of her and her employees...
Read moreWe went there last night and the guy that helped us kept running his hands through his sweaty hair the whole time he was making our ice cream. He barely mixed mine at all. He totally messed up my wife’s putting in a bunch of stuff that wasn’t supposed to be in it but let us know he would charge us for his mistakes. Then he could barely count my change back. After taking a couple bites my wife found a hair in her ice cream, go figure, I wonder where that came from. He apologized, took the cup, ran his hand through his hair, and proceeded to make us a new ice cream. Why don’t they wear hats or hair nets or visors or something? Everyone in food service should keep their hair contained somehow. Poor training on cleanliness and proper...
