On Tuesday February 5th my mom and I went bed shopping. The first place we went to was Ashley in Rochester. When we walked in we were greeted with a smile and asked what they could help us with. We described we were looking for a mattress and then they directed us to Bryce. Right when we walked back to the mattress area Bryce was standing up and ready to greet and help us with whatever we needed. He greeted us with a warm smile and asked to describe what we were looking for. The first mattress he directed us to was the one. I knew from the first time I layed on it. He had us look at some other options and try some other ones also. He gave us some prices and we said we would talk it over with my dad and let them know. Before we left he asked what we were doing the rest of the day and told us to drive safe because of the bad weather that was coming. He cared and wanted to connect with us and his customer service was AMAZING!!! We went to 5 other stores and by 2nd on I was shopped out. There was one other mattress that was a contender for the final pick. We went back to Ashley and layed on the mattress again to make sure that I still felt that it was the one. We sat and waited for Bryce to get back from his lunch break. Once he got back he welcomed us back and asked how we were doing. His customer service was over the top amazing and that I why I chose to by a Sealy mattress at Ashley. Not because they had the best deal but because I felt to most cared about! I would definitely recommend anyone to them and if your looking for a mattress talk to Bryce! He was absolutely awesome and I would go back to him any other time I need to buy a mattress!!! Read moreI recommend Ashley Furniture if you go into the store to place your order. Do not place an online order. The furniture is of high quality with good selection, and the salespeople, at least at my local store, are helpful and not pushy or over the top. I like their financing options with the in-store card and online payment of the card is easy and secure. The online site has an excellent search feature. This was the only furniture site I personally found that would yield worthwhile results on a color search. Now the negatives about online ordering: many of their items will say there is a 3-5 day or 2-3 week usual delivery time, but after I placed an online order, I got ever-lengthening delay news by email. Immediately after the order, I got a confirmation for 3-5 days, then it was 1-2 weeks, then the third day, an email stated everything was out of stock and would be 3-6 weeks. I was not even clear who was fulfilling the order or who to call because there is a third party deliverer often involved. After 7 weeks I asked to cancel the order, was told it would deliver that weekend, but then it got cancelled anyway, however it took a week to verify it was cancelled and not just delayed. Read moreWe have had a chance to purchase furniture from Ashley a couple of times since moving to Rochester. Our furniture has always been hand me downs, so walking into a furniture store for the first time was a bit scary. Tim took care of us each time, providing us with the information we needed to make a decision. I felt like he was patient to help us with what we felt like we needed and not to push us to select a higher end piece of furniture that might benefit him.
Also, this most recent visit, we were in a bit of a hurry to snag a couch and loveseat combo for our living room before a family event coming up. When I called Ashley, Lynette answered the phone and transferred me to Lori. Lori helped me quickly and was able to assure us that we would have the pieces we wanted by our event. When we came in store to select the color we wanted, Tim helped us again. He arranged our delivery and Courtney was on the phone to confirm all the details. From beginning to end, whether on the phone or in person, we felt like we were well taken care of.
