Is it possible to get refunded for the tip that I added to my order?
This is the third time in a row that I have picked up food or dined in at this location where one or more items have been missing from my order. The frustrating part is that they include the receipt with your items "checked off" to indicate that someone has personally verified that they are there. Then when you have to go back up or interrupt someone to point out that items are missing the response you get is that they really couldn't care less that your order was wrong. At my last visit they failed to provide me with the 2 drink cups that were ordered (they circle them on the receipt to indicate that someone has to pull them yet and give them to you) and failed to include the cookie and napkins (which someone marked off that it was verified that they were included).
Sadly this experience just confirms the train of thought that you should never tip anyone for a service that you haven't been provided yet. The poor quality of service would seem to indicate to me that Panera isn't paying their employees enough to get them to care about the customer service that they provide. I find it ridiculous that these fast food restaurants seem to be asking the customer to further supplement the employee wages through tips when they should be paying these individuals wages consistent with the service that they supposedly want to provide their...
Read moreI have never seen a manager more rude in my life. I was there to pick up a doordash in which I was told 3 times did not exist before even being asked the order name. What I belive was the manager (a lady with blonde and pink hair) cut off the employee telling me the order wasn't there to ask me if I was at the wrong location with the snarkiest tone I've ever heard. I polightly explained that was the correct one and showed her the app. They somehow found the order 2 seconds later and started it. Wile waiting on the order things got WORSE. Two lovely customers walked up waiting on their order as well. They went to pick up their two drinks and one of them asked if it was theirs and the same Manger that was rude to me, the same Manger who put the girls drinks out and didn't tell them it was theirs proceded to catch another tone and rolled her eyes saying something I couldn't catch.... 5 minutes later one of the employees was sent out by the SAME manager to ask why the girls haven't taken their drinks. When the girl explained she was confused because she heard the Manger say it was a different fruit then what she ordered and the manager literally looked her dead in the face and said "we don't carry that so obviously it's your smoothie" as the girl walked away with her drink the manager added "were not berry blends" That Manger really needs to not be so rude and needs to be put...
Read moreNice spot to meet a friend for a visit! This restaurant is the newest Panera in Rochester, features an eating bar with about 15 power plug-ins in a 12-foot expanse, a bank of in-store ordering kiosks & order pick-up system (like open lockers/ shelves). The only thing I noticed that was weird or clunky is the "choke point" near the beverage filling area where they've jammed a little round table into the walkway!! Yeah weird, does anyone ever sit there? Get that table outta there, I don't need an obstacle course, this isn't "The Amazing Race."
Now as to the food: Pick 2 is my go-to choice for dependable, tasty, interesting menu options; I chose Broccoli-Cheddar Soup (wish there was the option to have diced ham added to make it heartier) and a first for me: Turkey, Apple, Cheese sammich on cranberry bread (though I wish the sammich-maker spread the ingredients more evenly instead of piling it in heaps, forcing me/a customer to open it up and spread it around, really a thoughtless way to make a sammich actually). My mango smoothie (made with Greek yogurt) was really good.
They have to-your-table delivery at this location which was...
