The Original Mr. Pizza South — Restaurant in Rochester

UPDATE February 2022: When I first moved to Rochester, Mr. Pizza was my favorite pizza place. I raved about how good they are and how I'm happy to support local pizza chains over the national chains. This most recent experience at Mr. Pizza though has led me to write this review. I used a coupon and ordered a Chicken Alfredo large pizza with pepperoni. When we received the pizza and tasted it, the chicken was very dry and tasted old (like it was leftovers and shredded and thrown on a pizza). Since I received the pizza late in the evening and had to go to work, I had my girlfriend call and express our displeasure. I wasn't interested in a refund, I just wanted a different pizza. Instead, the person who answered the phone said they would wait until their manager came in and would call us back. They never called us back or even apologized. This is sad news for me because I really respected Mr. Pizza but I will no longer shop with them and make sure this experience gets out everywhere.

My wife and I would like to take a moment to extremely express our gratitude to Ryan. In my previous review (which I deleted for good reason) I mentioned my concern of the pizza my wife and I ordered. I mentioned that it wasn't complete. Truth of it is, is that I was mistaken. Half of the pizza was Margarita style and the other half veggie style. Ryan humbly reached out to me and expressed his sincere concern. He helped me understand that part of the pizza (Margarita style) was as the menu stated. I agreed with him and I apologize for the misunderstanding. Ryan was kind enough to make us another specialty veggie pizza. How amazing is that!! You may think I'm exaggerating but my lovely wife agrees with me. It is the best pizza we've had in a long time. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,,I'm from our of town and going to the mayo clinic, and I read great reviews on their add, so I stopped in and ordered a Mac's special pizza and added green peppers ,when I got the pizza to my motel and not into it there was no pizza sauce on it ,so I callecalled the manager and let him know ,and the B'S story he gave me was you should of ordered more pizza sauce because that's what happens on these loaded pizzas. Well if he was aware of this issue then why did he not tell me this so I could of ordered more sause at the time I ordered my pizza!!! instead of not doing anything to help me out.Not to mention I spent a little over $50.00 their. so I had to throw a $23.00 pizza away, because I cannot eat a dry pizza.NOT so Great of customer skills their manager.I told him that I would never eat there again and that did not even phase him at all .
