McDonald's — Restaurant in Rock Hill

I typically get good service any other associate that's there on any given day but today had to be the worst what you will see inside of this review any other day 4-5 Stars easily I was at the 2600 N CHERRY RD ROCK HILL, SC 29730, location when I went to pick up my mobile order from inside the store which was a simple order two Mac chickens one apple pie and a high c large. As I do almost days and my food was prepared and what I consider proper time however my biggest complaint is the attitude of the manager on duty and she made me very aware that she was manager on duty. This would be on Wednesday afternoon at 5: 25pm roughly as I check my bag for my items and then I grab the apple pie to make sure that they didn't mistakenly give me a cherry one the first thing I noticed is that the box was cold to the touch naturally after noticing this I simply asked if I could have a different apple pie that was hot like at any other McDonald's that I've gone to I was then therefore informed of the whole entire apple pie schedule that they're on and how they bake the pies and when they put pies in and then rudely asked if I would like to have the pie warmed up. Which I replied yes however she walked away or was in the process of walking away while she asked so I assume she wanted me to speak louder than normal to reply but I did say yes so I waited in the lobby at the counter waiting for her to pick up the apple pie only to be assistant by another associate. And then the manager who noticed as the other associate was trying to assist me begin to loudly once again make a statement of what she said previous which was they do not make the apple pies fresh and that I could warm the apple pie up or have them warm the apple pie up my counter to that was I've never walked into a McDonald's and got a cold apple pie the box wasn't even room temperature as she stated later the box was literally cold. Which at that point I should have just asked for a refund and called it today but the clear attitude that she had was not in any way friendly and I could have went back and forth with her however my 20 plus years and customer service retail sales and otherwise clearly showed me that a something was either getting on her nerves that day or be she's not suited to be in management if that's the way she's going to go about speaking to customers. At my job if I get a terrible Google review there will be consequences because that means that I did not uphold the standards for the business I work for there are occasions where people are just going to be mad regardless and I get that and I am not trying to do this to technically get anybody fired or anything like that but the way she spoke to me was quite disrespectful and as somebody who frequents that location simply because it's close to my job I would hope that McDonald's would employ someone who holds their quality of insurance standards. But beyond all of that I would like to know if apple pies are supposed to be hot and ready when you purchase them because I can't seem to find a dedicated answer for that I would assume that they are supposed to be because the box literally says caution hot not...

I went here and purchased my daughter an Mcrib Combo ok i told them fries without salt and a coke without ice to drink ok I paid almost $9 for it looked in the bag ok everything appeared to be ok even though I hate the way McDonald's lay your fries down instead of standing them up inside of the bag ok got home she took the food out the sandwich was cold and the fries was small instead of medium ok I took the order back to this location the young man told me I don't handle the food I just take the order I told him ok I understand that I just need you to listen and see what was put in my bag for an order that I paid almost $9 dollars for so he told me to go to the next window and I did the girl at the window said is there fries poured in the bag I explained to her that it wasn't and I needed another fry or I want my money back for the meal I asked about the sandwich being made over as well for the inconvenience she said I'll only take the fries back lmbo I told her this combo was high and unexceptable and y'all in a whole covid-19 pandemic this girl took the fries back through the window wow and took them back without any gloves on then when she gave me this order of another set of fresh fries inside of a bag closed of course to good to be true yep guess what this order and why wasn't I shocked this order was loaded down with salt I THREW THE FOOD AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😠😡 wow please stay in school I love dogs but please hear me when I say I wouldn't recommend this place to a dog because all your going to get is the wrong order cold food and whatever else that is wrong put all into a bag and given without hesitation to the public I wish I knew who owned this location i would definitely reach out and tell them that his night shift crew just doesn't care for your business needs and the customer's it is always something when I come to this location so with saying that I recommend if you want accurate and great customer service you won't find it here take the extra drive to heckle blvd or mt gallant rd as well as Dave Lyle blvd where your food will be accurate and hot and served with a smile and with no questions asked they will correct your order to whom...

Y’all play too much in this store.. please take into consideration that y’all not the only ones working or on the clock.

It’s senseless to wait on fast food for 15 mins… attitudes are trash 9X outta 10. I find it to be hilarious… I had been sitting in the line (second drive through) waiting to be acknowledged. Meanwhile I’m seeing other cars get there orders taken and pull up… I decided to pull up to the window and the lady looked at me and walked away. I parked my car and let my window up. I was gonna make time for the dumb stuff, since I’m already late getting back to work. So I sat there. When she finally came back to the window, I rolled mine down and asked her was they taking orders at the second drive thru. she said someone told her not to take orders until she was instructed to… I asked her WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME THAT. I would have pulled up or DROVE OFF or something.. No answer. She just said she would take my order right there. I ordered my frappe.

Then I pull up to get the frappe, I can clearly see it’s been made, you have these kids playing around, it looks like 2 of them were kissing and the one who made my order was just laughing.. I started blowing my horn and she ignored it. I’m in the car saying “give me my frappe, YALL up there playin and I’m already late. And ITS ALREADY MADE.” I was irritated behind that… the little girl finally came to the window and gave me my frappe and I said somethin like “y’all in there cup caking and stuff, and I’m lateeee” she said “oh. Well, I’m sorry.” I just got my stuff and drove off.

Seems McDonald’s just hires anybody. I already knew this is the worst one in Rock Hill but unfortunately it’s the closest one to me.. smh

And upon picking up door dashes… why y’all look people DEAD IN THE EYES and don’t say NOTHING. 😂 I just walk out....
