LaRocca Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Rock Hill

My apologies, I was so hungry that I started eating immediately when my food came out. That is why you see an empty plate here. Partly because of how hungry I was, but also in part to the quality of the food. This is my first time trying out L&S Family Restaurant, but I can say that I was definitely impressed with the quality of the food and service here. It’s not very often you find yourself saying out loud “wow this is so good” three to five times during the course of a meal, but today I did just that. My food came out in a large portion, steaming hot, and on a warm plate. Our waitress catered very well to our whims as we have a small child and often require lots of napkins condiments etc. I can only speak for the quality of the sausage gravy biscuit platter with hash browns and sausage links that I had, but if this meal is any indication of the rest of the menu then I highly recommend you try...

A hidden gem that needs more advertising!!! A diner-style place with retro decor. Was clean, great staff too! Owner came out and talked to us. He bought the place two months ago. But the FOOD!!!!! Oh, my goodness, if only we lived near this place, we would be regulars! I did bookmark it though for the next trip through! We got Open-faced roast beef dinner with fried okra (looked like shaved deli meat) but my elderly father said it was the best restaurant meal he ever ate! I had Turkey dinner. It was also amazing!!!The only thing missing was a bit of cranberry sauce 😊 Last meal was broccoli soup (huge & delicious) 😋 What they may lack in Decor, they MORE than make up for in service and superior quality of grandma’s home style cooking! My suggestion: offer 10 % off coupons to neighboring hotels!! Your tables will fill up fast! We were only one of two tables filled. Hope this...

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! Me and my wife decided to try this place based on the reviews, what we DID NOT know was this place changed ownership 2 months ago! It's not the same people that EARNED those good reviews! The employees act like they're all brand new and do not have a clue.....they tried to being out the appetizer we ordered AFTER the main dishes were out....our main order had to be corrected TWICE...and they don't even serve SWEET TEA!!! It was obvious most of our food had been reheated and it wasn't even edible. Then to top off this horrible experience, when we got the bill we had been up charged for 3 items that were included in the meals on the menu. I'm not overly picky at restaurants but this was just horrible. So please....only pay attention to the reviews in the past 2 months!! This place is not L&S...
