I'm not going to say that the service from the ladies themselves was bad however on a scale for professionalism I rate it about it 3 out of 10 I'm usually very cautious when I eat out in restaurants and I typically don't like going to them. However tonight I did feel like stopping by the Cherry Road Waffle House because I did have a taste for waffles and hash rounds I set up the counter closest to the register since I wasn't going to be in there long. That's where it all started to go downhill it's very difficult to want to eat my food and as they are washing dishes water splashing all over the place I believe the Sprite that I had with cherry mixed into it it wasn't rinsed out very well because I almost want to say I taste soap not a lot but enough to make me question it. The food was cooked the way it was supposed to be I guess but the whole experience was just kind of awkward and the fact that the young lady continuously wash dishes with no regard for the water splashing onto my food pretty much put me out of the mood wanting to eat yet I paid full price $10.30 with tax I believe and even tipped the girl only a dollar simply because they at least checked on me multiple times however I'm not sure if I could recommend anyone to this particular location and maybe if I was sitting in a different spot that might have made the difference. But I shouldn't have to and Waffle House should put a shield up where the dishes are washed so that the water splashes onto the shield but does not get on to the consumers food. As I put this comment here I'm actually quite surprised that I decided to pay full price for a meal that barely got ate. If it wasn't for the fact that the ladies simply engage me a little bit this would have gotten the lowest rating I could have possibly given it. Almost forgot to mention that even though I did not get a tea for a drink there was some form of mildew in the dispenser portion of it that one of the young girls notice that one of the ladies that she work with earlier did not clean and had been getting served to customers in the store at that very moment she did address the situation and try to resolve it by cleaning it but I was sitting right there witnessing the whole thing and just the feeling of disgusted is all I can think of. This may be a brand new building since they remodeled it expanded the parking lot but doesn't seem like the workforce on the inside is really any better you can dress it up but you can't make good service. And just so you know I would have engaged the ladies and told them of my displeasure but I was so Disturbed at the point in time I did not feel like making a scene in the establishment and felt that writing this review would be better Suited I hope that this gets a response from a member of management but preferably the ownership of this particular franchise or even corporate if it is a corporate chain I'm still pretty Disturbed at maybe 20% of my meal was actually eaten and the rest was mystified by...

Driving down Cherry Road in my putrid car, I had my sights on a virgin experience. Waffle House was always alluring to me; however the opportunity to grace this storied yellow and black establishment seemed to continuously slip through my waffleless fingers. But today, the second Saturday of September of 2018 would be the day.
I seated myself at the end of the countertop bar at 7:40 am. At that moment, all of my certainties of how my breakfast that day went down the kitchen sink. What do I get? Do I get a Texas bacon, cheese and ham sandwich with a side of hashbrowns? Do I get the American breakfast my dear friend Jason alluded to? My mind was going faster than the cooks in front of me. Then Kim arrived and asked me that ever so dreaded question, "what'll ya have?" I gave her a look comparable to Ralphie's when Santa asked what he wanted for Christmas and all I could say was, "ummmmmm, coffee please." Kim slung that cup of coffee quicker than I could look to the left of me and see three older gentlemen whom appeared to be everyday regulars chatting and commenting on the cooks Tom Brady-like skills in the kitchen.
Kim kept staring at me, anxious because I was not able to tell her what her next assignment would be. As I frantically scanned the placemat/menu, it dawned on me. My destiny was right before my eyes. "I must have you" I though to myself. "I will have the pecan waffle with scrambled eggs please." What a relief! The weight of everyone's eyes and judgment was finally lifted off my shoulders!
Five minutes later, Kim returned with my demands alongside more of the staple drink of the House of Waffle as I began my feast. The eggs, oh how the eggs were presented on the plate as if to say, "we died as chicks to be consumed by you at this very moment. Please never forget us." The eggs were the perfect teaser for what was about to come, the main event, the peacan waffle.
The peacan waffle came to me as a challenge, covering the entire circumference of the large plate. I looked my challenge in the face and smirked as I drowned it in maple syrup, making sure it never lifted its intimidating head towards defeat. Today was my day, and the waffle would soon learn this. Within four minutes, the peacan waffle met its maker, and its maker goes by the name of Conor.
I left Waffle House at 7:57 victorious. Although I won this battle, I knew there'd be...
Read moreWe've also had not such a great experience. The rude lady that's at the waffle house , her name is BECKY. she was VERY RUDE. had an unnecessary attitude, also was yelling across the restaurant asking what we wanted. But never brought anything over. We had to hurry up and catch her to ask her for more bitter for grits, before we could get the words out of our mouth , she was sleeping gone by then. So when she got back, weaseled for a clean cup with no grease or ketchup on it soy 88 yr old grandmother could drink her milk. I tried to ask for a refill of water but she was already gone again. She was foul, rotten, snapped our orders at us, literally was making us hurry to get our order, acting like we were such a nuisance, a bother to be at the diner. We were discusted. This Karen -like lady NAMED BECKY NEEDS NOT BE A WAITRESS, shes nOr a social person, she's MISERABLE, she MAKES YLU FEEL SO UNCOMFORTABLE that you have to leave. Never ever ever again. There was NO HOSPITALITY. thank GOD for the cook, the chef TIM was great, he had to tell BECKY to worry about herself, to quit causing ruckus with the Other female waitress that showed up, to stop complaining &yellimg and making a scene. It's normal for Becky to cause problems for everybody, everyday, all day. The workers, the customers. She was so ignorant, &rude to anybody in her way, around her. TIM, again, couldn't have been more great, he started getting our things we were asking for, &still trying to keep up with his cooking. He was so...
